eCommerce Marketing Assoc Manager','1729385','!*!The Associate Manager, eCommerce position is a critical role on the growing DPS eCommerce & Omnichannel Marketing team as it will contribute to increasing sales and profit by leading the strategy development, execution and analysis of our eCommerce marketing plans across pureplay accounts including, Instacart, Shipt, Peapod, FreshDirect, Drizly and Boxed.

The ideal candidate for this position will be a polished, results oriented, analytical thinker with strong project management skills. They must bring solution-based thinking, analytical rigor and an extraordinary level of drive to this position. Creative digital plan development and management is also a key demand of this position.

This individual must proactively identify potential business risks and deliver solutions that will address the business need through digital programming. They must have a proven track record of results for the business they manage and the ability to analyze results to prove ROI on the projects they lead.

Critical to the success of this role is the partnership they must create and align plans with the broader organization. The ability to work with and influence cross-functional partners is critical as this role will interact will various departments in the organization including eCommerce, shopper marketing, brand marketing, programmatic, insights, data science, category management, sales, legal and agency partners.

Position Overview: 

Key Functions of the Role

Digital investment and partner selection recommendations

Plan, develop and execute best-in-class integrated digital media and marketing programs that effectively targets, attracts, and converts shoppers

Post campaign assessment

Keep up on digital marketing innovation, industry trends, 3rd party tools and technology, new best practices and digital shopper engagement insights

Responsibilities

Lead eCommerce marketing strategy and execution for Instacart, Shipt, Peapod, FreshDirect, Drizly and Boxed

Primary responsibility is to build comprehensive digital media and merchandising recommendations across mediums (Mobile, Video, Display, Social, Native etc.) that meet each account’s objectives. Assemble site consideration set and make recommendations on how to best allocate advertising budgets; utilizing media research tools and industry/market knowledge

Build direct response media and tactics

Develop and issue RFPs to publisher partners; gather and analyze proposals to determine the best media selections, negotiate rates & positioning as required

Has a deep working knowledge of the media specific plan in order to link key retailers, digital channels, platforms and formats to an appropriate retailer/channel and tactic

Work with internal teams to oversee and monitor ongoing campaign performance, ensuring campaigns are executed properly and according to account team expectations

Skills

·       Demonstrated ability to drive improvement of digital KPIs via a strong analytical mindset

Up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing and measurement – specifically digital omnichannel marketing – in order to create engaging campaigns that inspire our consumers and shoppers

·    Ability to educate and influence key stakeholders and external partners

Strong written, verbal, presentation and negotiation skills

Bachelor degree in related field

Minimum of 3 years of eCommerce marketing, digital shopper marketing and/or digital media planning and buying via agency or in-house client side. Experience should include development and execution of retail digital programs, content strategy, and media plans that include search, display, social and email

Experience in Customer/Account/Retailer facing role(s)
