Position summary

Manage the eCommerce Fraud Prevention and Investigations team, all eComm investigations and programs related to online fraud and abuse. Oversee the implementation and daily operations of our eComm investigative and digital anti-fraud business functions as well as support high level and major impact investigations throughout TJX, both domestically and internationally involving TJX's Digital Brands.



*Manage the initiation of internal and external investigations based on leads generated by eCommerce analysts/investigators as well as other sources. *Conduct and direct investigations through traditional and non-traditional methods (cyber, data analytics, social media, TJX systems, open source research). *Oversee the analysis and investigation of fraudulent transactions based on actionable intelligence in order to mitigate financial and reputational risk associated with fraud in complex electronic crimes. *Manage, execute, review and document electronic evidence for investigations related to eCommerce fraud from internet, mobile, digital device, banking information, call center data, financial records, web traffic, audit logs and open sources. *Develop and oversee, in conjunction with business partners, undercover or covert system testing to proactively combat ecommerce fraud. *Manage controlled deliveries of merchandise and surveillance, including monitoring of remote surveillance cameras. *Develop training for other field Loss Prevention teams concerning reporting, analytics and trends pertaining to eCommerce fraud. *Oversee eCommerce analytics used to identify suspicious trends that are creating financial loss to the company, specifically around margin, shrink, profit erosion and fraud. *Oversee the identification, development and implementation of TJX's various third party payment and fraud detection and prevention systems. *Develop procedures for the eCommerce fraud team to continually respond to current threat trends; including but not limited to 3rd party Knowledge Based Authentication systems; and optimizing identity verification during checkout. *Oversee and perform regression testing for compliance and security purposes to evaluate the purchase process, credit card validation and the fraud, order, and account velocity filters. *Coordinate and work with multiple financial institutions to identify and confirm fraudulent financial activity. *Partner with TJX Digital Security Engineers as well as other partners to develop tools and process to automate audit reports.


*Bachelor's degree, Master's a plus. *Demonstrated competency in leading and managing a team of investigators. *Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. *Proficient in gathering electronic evidence for investigations. *Proven experience in digital crime investigations. *Understanding of legal, judicial and evidentiary procedure. *Exceptional verbal and written communications skills. *Minimum of 5 years of experience in conducting and managing complex eCommerce investigations in either the private sector or similar experience in government/law enforcement. *Minimum of 5 years of eCommerce fraud analysis and prevention management.
