Responsibilities
The Work Transfer Manager will be responsible to project manage, lead and oversee buy-to-buy and make-to-buy work transfers. Some responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Project Management, Team Leadership, Interface, Coordination with the Business Unit Operating Company site functional team including supply chain, engineering, operations, etc.
Project tools (schedule, risk register, project plan, buffer stick management, action item list, etc.) deployment and maintenance
Process adherence across the enterprise which encompasses all Business Units. 
 Accountable for the successful execution of Supply Chain Work Transfer Projects
Team training for direct and indirect reports.
Create and report on metrics
Supplier interface and management.
Reviews and management of overall process to ensure successful part transfer on plan through first article acceptance into production.
 Reports to the Unit Director, Enterprise Work Transfer.

Qualifications

Bachelor\u2019s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations (Management) preferred.
PMP Certification preferred.
Minimum 5-10 years\u2019 experience working in project management, engineering, operations and/or supply chain required
Experience in project and supplier management, in technical (automotive, medical) and/or aerospace industry market
Experience in analyzing and structuring transfer plans and development of reports to support the Work Transfer process
Experience with commodity management, global sourcing, supplier development and work transfer
Experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment preferred
30-50% travel (domestic & international)
Excellent written and verbal communications
Teaming and ability to learn quickly
Demonstrated ability to lead an indirect team, take ownership and action oriented
Ability to work independently and complete multiple assignments on time
Word, Power Point and Excel (pivot tables, etc.)
