Job Description:


We are looking for a Wholesale Marketing Manager to join the DENIZEN and Signature by Levi Strauss & Co. Marketing Team. The Wholesale Marketing Manager will execute US and CA customer marketing programs and on-floor brand experience and product presentation elements.


Support Marketing Director in the planning and execution of customer-specific marketing programs that drive awareness, trial and sales of DENIZEN and Signature products. Programs to include but not limited to: digital advertising, social media advertising, print catalogs/flyers, promotions and experiential executions, working in partnership with retailers, sales teams and advertising agency.

Support Marketing Director in the planning and development of in-store marketing and POS strategies and executions to create cohesive, engaging DENIZEN and Signature brand on-floor experiences. Manage relationships with retailer on-floor teams.

Develop digital product and brand assets for online retailers, including descriptive product copy, product photography, fit videos, fit guides and other enhanced digital content that drives interest and conversion, elevating and differentiating the DENIZEN and the Signature brands on respective retailer websites. Provide assets to ecommerce team for optimization, execution and ongoing management, ensuring assets delivered on time and in correct format.

Execute in-store merchandising projects for both brands, developing directives and acting as the primary liaison between sales, marketing, the retailer and the merchandising vendor. Track and report program results, informing all parties of issues in a timely manner. Work with the team to find and execute resolutions as needed.

Understand the broader DENIZEN and Signature financial plans and manage the Marketing Dilution Budget and purchase process, tracking program cost by retailer and consumer segment while facilitating communication between Finance, Marketing and Retailers as needed.

Develop keen understanding of retail and competitive landscape, continually surveying in-store, online and social trends in order to recommend strategies and drive innovation.

Manages retailer program ROI/ROS measurement and hindsight in partnership with internal teams and retail partners.

Ensure success by sustaining highly collaborative relationships with key internal and external retailer stakeholders, including Marketing and Store Environment, Buying, Ecommerce, Sales, Merchandising and Finance teams.

Provides Channel expertise & knowledge to the Brand Marketing team - includes Channel performance, trends, and upcoming content needs.

Be a creative marketing thinker and have the ability to drive retail and agency partners to innovate how the DENIZEN and Signature brands communicate with our consumers across retailer platforms.

Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (7 years combined college education and work experience may be substituted for a degree)

Minimum of 5 years marketing experience including brand marketing, channel marketing, digital marketing, social media, brand environment and other related areas.

Advanced degree preferred (MBA preferred)

Mass Channel marketing experience preferred

Digital marketing experience preferred

Demonstrated ability to independently lead moderate to complex projects

Excellent communication and collaboration skills including influence and persuasion

Strategic thinker with strong planning and organizational skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills - includes influencing, negotiation skills and content development

Demonstrates flexibility and initiative with minimal direction

Excellent business acumen with the ability to conduct basic ROI analysis on programs

Extensive knowledge of market trends, social media and the retail landscape

Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects and tasks
