And you'll do your life's best work.(sm) The Web Strategy Manager is responsible for maintaining a consistent user experience, growing performance, and ensuring content is findable for owned and operated websites on the Digital Marketing Platform (DMP). Primary Responsibilities: Maintain consistency and governance - The Web Strategy Manager will be responsible for maintaining consistency and governance of the user experience. Specifically, this means ensuring content and web pages meet Optum marketingâ€™s â€œmobile firstâ€ requirement and maintain the integrity of our website designs and style guides.
This will be achieved by leading the planning for content, page, and taxonomy updates for existing websites on the DMP. This role will work with marketers to ensure updated content fits within our templates and guidelines Strategize with internal marketing partners on how to take content updates and present them within the DMP structure and guidelines Review and approve wireframes, designs / layouts and content updates against our guidelines Update website taxonomies and page inventories Gather content assets Assign or update tags Package final content via our â€œSilver Platterâ€ template for hand off to our digital production team Perform quality assurance on pages before and after theyâ€™re pushed live Strictly follow, enforce, and improve standard workflow processes Grow website performance - This role will be responsible growing the key performance indicators (KPIs) of our websites, monitoring performance monthly (at a minimum), and uncovering areas of opportunity. This role will be responsible for informing the A / B testing schedule Monitor KPIs such as: monthly unique visitors, pageviews per visit, traffic sources, bounce rates and conversion rates Use KPI data from other DMP sites to inform strategies and best practices for migrations Inform the A/B testing schedule based on areas of opportunity, monitor results and consult on actions Regularly view digital trades and attend at least one conference annually to stay up on the latest digital experience / mobile first trends. Come away with at least 3 tangible things we can apply to our web experience Ensure content is findable - Follow process to inventory content and work with marketing partners to update promotion and events calendars for each website on the DMP (as appropriate) monthly. This role is also responsible for gathering promotion results (clicks, click-through-rates) and ensuring flawless execution of calendars.
Finally, this role is responsible for ensuring all cross promotion (showing related content on pages) is properly executed and identifying ways to use our content recommendation engine Update inventory list for each website monthly Maintain events listing calendar. Review master event calendar, work with events team and segment marketers to determine which events should be listed on website, properly tag Maintain promotion calendar. Gather content, ensure tracking and flawless execution Strategize content cross promotion strategies and determine how to utilize the recommendation engine to promote content Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree 5 years of website marketing, website UX strategy and website content strategy experience 3 years of experience using web analytic tools; measuring website results Entrepreneurial, able to figure out solutions on their own, apply creative problem - solving techniques Must be highly collaborative, able to work with a wide variety of internal marketing partners while at the same time, be able to enforce our website governance Able to work and thrive in a very complex industry and large company Able to work with colleagues who are in different locations, including internationally Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Web Analytics tool: Adobe analytics Google analytics Google Web Master tools HEAT Mapping Careers with Optum.
