A key warehousing position for teammates with excellent performance and a well-rounded knowledge of all warehouse functions
Works in any/all areas of the warehouse to include shipping, receiving, put-away, inventory control, slotting etc. Ensures efficiency of the warehouse is maintained at all times. Teammates promoted into this position must:
Have worked in all areas of the warehouse. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Observes loading of pallets to determine conformance to loading patterns and to prevent shifting or damage to medical and surgical supplies during transit. Verifies materials loaded or unloaded against work order or bill of lading. Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies. Operates any material handling equipment safely and efficiently as required. Notes and reports any damage or malfunction and connects battery to recharging station at the end of the shift. Ensures all shipping/receiving documents and functions are completed accurately and timely. Keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment. Checks outbound shipments for accuracy and readiness for customer delivery. Recommends measures to improve production methods, quality of product, and suggests changes in working conditions to increase efficiency of the warehouse. Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists teammates in solving work problems.
10. Initiates or suggests plans to motivate teammates to achieve work goals.
11. Fills customer orders and delivers items to the delivery platform in a manner that meets Company standards for safety, security and productivity. Ensures all orders are complete and correct.
12. Maintains accurate warehouse inventory count, researches receiving/shipping discrepancies, checks product recall and expired products, receives /puts away customer returns, researches proof of delivery and unit of measure errors and performs cycle counts of RF units.
13. Provides training to warehouse teammates in any/all areas of the warehouse.
14. Maintains flexible hours as required in order to ensure customer needs are met.
SUPPLEMENTAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
May schedule delivery routes. May conduct physical inventories as required. Performs labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing and re-packing for shipment as needed. Performs additional duties as directed.
Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
TYPE OF PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less.
Depth Perception Three dimensional vision.Ability to judge distance and space relationships so as to see objects where and as they actually are. This factor is important when depth perception is required for successful job performance and/or for reasons of safety to oneself and others.
Bending the body downward and forward by bending leg and spine.
Moving about on hands and knees or hands and feet.
Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.
Seizing, holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with hands. Fingers are involved only to the extent that they are an extension of the hand.
Picking, pinching, or otherwise working with fingers primarily (rather than with whole hand or arm as in handling).
Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Talking is important for those activities in which workers must impart oral information to clients or to the public, and in those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.
Perceiving the nature of sounds. Hearing is important for those activities which require ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make fine discriminations in sound, such as when making fine adjustments on running engines.
QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION & FORMAL TRAINING:
General knowledge of a variety of basic topics, such as math, reading, basic accounting, typing, etc. Equal to a high school diploma. Successful completion of all company warehouse training modules resulting in certification. Certified on all warehouse machinery.

At least one year (up to and including) three years in all of the following areas:

RF Unit, forklift, electric jack, PC, printer, pallets, truck and hand jack.
