The Vice President of Talent Acquisition is responsible for:Designing, implementing, and continuously assessing strategic processes to attract, evaluate, and hire qualified candidates in the high volume, professional and executive levelsMaintaining talent pipelines, effectively communicating the company brand, collaborating with vendors to connect candidates with company opportunities and successfully leverage recruiting tools with a strong emphasis on social mediaThis person will build connections with Company management teams and business partners to assess hiring needs and build analytics as needed to adjust and support hiring practices and retain ongoing qualified talent Essential Duties:Strategically design, implement, and streamline hiring practices, processes, and tools to build hiring pipelines and onboard candidates into open company opportunities in a timely an efficient manner, in accordance with the Company’s talent philosophy, values, and cultureLead an assigned team in integrating innovative and best practices to adequately develop and communicate the company brand and incorporate social recruiting strategies that may include expanding vendor/tool options and utilizing new methods to connect with potential candidatesOwn the design, execution, and maintenance of a best in class onboarding program that includes every facet of both the candidate and hiring manager’s experienceBuild out data and analytics to measure the return on investment (ROI) of talent acquisition programs, including metrics on source of hire, time to hire/time to fill, measurement of candidate experience, quality of hiring and ensuring a diverse pipeline of talent as well as brandingOversee vendor relationships and negotiations to ensure the acquisition and implementation of appropriate programs and products fully support the talent management strategy and initiativesDevelop departmental team members to be successful in recruiting across a wide spectrum of roles to include professional staff recruiting and volume recruiting.  In addition, expanding and building out an executive recruiting model will be key in this roleOversee fiscal planning and budgeting within area of responsibilityPerform additional and related duties as assignedGeneral mental and physical requirements of an indoor office environment are expected This position may be based in Omaha NE, Hauppauge NY, Longmont CO, or Chicago IL.','!*!Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required with focus on human resources, organizational development, business administration, or related field is requiredEquivalent work experience in similar position may be substitutedMinimum 10 years of progressive talent acquisition is experience required.  Preferably with a large scale technical company or a multi-site/global companyMinimum of 4 years of supervisory experience preferredMust be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and have had in-depth experience with various hiring vendors and toolsFamiliarity with equal opportunity hiring processes and diversity inclusion is also necessaryWest is connecting people and ideas.We are delivering on their potential.We are improving the way we work and live.At West, we are dedicated to delivering and improving upon new channels, new capabilities and new choices for how businesses and consumers collaborate, connect and transact.
