If you are looking to make a valuable difference for people everywhere — and for yourself — we may have the right place for you.As Vice President of Market Segments & Partnerships, you will lead a team focused on expanding TSYS merchant solutions strategy through collaboration and commercialization of solutions to accelerate in market solutions to small businesses and merchants. The VP will be responsible for delivering market solutions through expansions and/or deeper utilization of market segment solution sets.  The VP will manage a team of market focused product leaders and a team of strategic account managers. The VP will provide leadership and expertise in driving deeper interaction with the markets TSYS service as well as forging strategic relations with third parties which enhance our merchant’s experience. Performs other duties as assigned.Key Responsibilities
Collaborates closely with product development leaders, market place presidents, other members of sales and market teams to help set and execute on initiatives.
Identifies, evaluates, and pursues strategic alliances with partners and institutes.
Develops, structures, and negotiates appropriate business arrangements with these strategic partners, including cross-marketing and sponsorship partnerships, licensing agreements, joint ventures, and other relevant arrangements.
Identifies and develops strategy for spinning out technology into for profit entities.
Oversees and manages related technology transfer, patents, contracts and intellectual property.
Executes goals, communicates progress and tracks results with input from TSYS merchant leadership.
Oversees the plan and execution of a comprehensive product marketing strategy with close alignment with Marketing and Sales functional experts.
Prepares and presents talks for professional meetings, seminars and conferences, as needed to achieve above business development objectives.
Requires 20% travel
Education/Experience:
A minimum of ten years business development experience in a payments processing environment.
BS or MBA with extensive knowledge of translating business opportunities into scaled profitable offerings. Experience required in merchant processing.
Extensive contacts in FinTech.
Demonstrated ability to negotiate and execute operating agreements with corporate partners.
Strong business acumen, organizational, analytical and technical skills.
Ability to thrive and produce results in a fast-paced, dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
