The Global Business Marketing team seeks an experienced Vertical Insights Content Strategist for the Facebook IQ team. As the world becomes more open and connected, the practice of marketing is continuously redefined. Facebook IQ (https://www.facebook.com/iq/) helps marketers navigate this ever-changing landscape by focusing on what remains constant: people. Rooted in what we've learned from 2 billion people on our platforms and the 5 million businesses that advertise with us, Facebook IQ uncovers actionable insights about people, marketing and measurement available nowhere else. We offer studies, tools and resources built to transform how marketers reach people and deliver real results in this cross-channel, multi-device world. Whether a marketer needs inspiration for their next big idea, data on consumer segments or the latest in ad effectiveness, they lean on Facebook IQ for insights and strategies. The Vertical Insights Content Strategist will be responsible for leveraging Facebook data and commissioned research to generate insights and world-class marketing content about key verticals and audiences to unlock growth. They will arm the vertical marketing and sales teams with the insights content and sales materials they need to inspire client decisions. And they will prove Facebook's value as both a media partner and a strategic thought leader by creating external-facing content that will be activated across Facebook IQ channels. The ideal candidate has experience in strategic planning, business marketing, research and analytics. They must be a self-starter, must be comfortable working with internal and external stakeholders and agencies and must thrive in cross-functional teams and exhibit excellent communication and prioritization skills. This is a full-time position located in Menlo Park or New York.

Responsibilities Own the content strategy, message and materials development for vertical insights that resonate with brand and agencies. Create inspiring content that shifts long-held perspectives at the highest levels the advertising industry. This could include executive summaries, articles, keynotes, play books, digital campaigns and experiences and more

Synthesize data from multiple sources into concise and meaningful insight-driven vertical stories

Leverage internal Facebook tools to analyze behavior

Own and lead effective and efficient content development coordinating with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing science, Public Relations, creative and more

Minimum Qualifications University BA/BS degree

5 years experience in content strategy, marketing communications, journalism, or a related field

Ability to take complex data and research and create actionable findings that are simple for brand marketers and agencies

Ability to maintain high quality work while meeting deadlines on multiple projects simultaneously

Knowledge and experience with digital marketing, specifically, an understanding of the digital and traditional landscape

Experience collaborating within a high-functioning, cross-functional and fast-paced team environment.

Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, English, Journalism or related field

Proven track record of partnering with a Marketing and Sales organization to drive business impact

Qualitative and/or quantitative research background
