Job ID: R-03216Position Overview:The position will lead the Vendor Governance team within Global IT, which is a function of the ‘Office of the CIO'. This role is responsible for enhancing and leading a centralized vendor management function across global IT, which develops and implements programs to manage vendor performance, relationships and risks, govern centralized cross-system software licensing, and meet both internal and external audit and regulatory requirements. The Vendor Governance Lead will direct and lead a team of supplier relationship managers and analysts to deliver vendor risk assessments, contract lifecycle management, contract performance reporting, centralized system software license management, and vendor relationships for services vendors. This role also influences vendor diversity, sustainability, and corporate social responsibility programs, in addition to compliance, spend tracking, savings analytics and reporting for strategic and key vendors. Key features include upgrading operational processes and procedures relating to the contracting of key IT suppliers; reporting and analyzing cost savings, spend tracking and analysis relating to these contracts; managing score-carding, benchmarking, market and performance metrics analysis programs, as well as responsibility for ensuring process validation and compliance, for global vendors. This team also manages the process for procuring and allocating cross-system software licenses, including chargeback methodologies. The team also builds strong partnerships with key business unit leaders in Global IT, provide deep industry expertise, thought leadership and consultative insights around best in class vendor practices, up-to-date governance trends, and work co-operatively in a cross-functional capacity with other areas of TCCC (Legal, Finance, Procurement). The role also drives relationship management between the senior business stakeholders and strategic vendors, ensuring mutually beneficial opportunities are created, including quarterly business/partnership reviews.The scope of this role covers all aspects of the vendor governance space across the global IT function. Create and lead a vendor governance function for global IT, and implement a holistic vendor lifecycle management program;
Overall responsibility to develop best-in-class global vendor governance strategies while maintaining or improving quality, performance and risk mitigation;
Support programs across global IT through standardization of tools and processes and ongoing communication with regional and bottler leadership;
Support sourcing strategies and manage global IT, legal, finance & procurement key stakeholders and vendor relationships;
Develop deep, strategic relationships with vendors and understand strategically how to create mutually beneficial opportunities;
Helps to resolve both internal and external vendor issues, which are normally expected to be encountered in larger global deals;
Attract, retain, and develop vendor management team members. Direct the activities of vendor relationship managers from simple, routine to highly complex vendor arrangements of strategic importance to global IT;
Oversee pre-contract (i.e. vendor on-boarding, sanctions screening, supplier health analysis) and post-contract (i.e. contract lifecycle management, vendor governance and off-boarding of vendors) activities and provide thought leadership and guidance as it relates to supplier relationship management.

EducationBachelor's DegreeExperience    
10-15 years well-rounded management experience
5 years of vendor management experience
5 years professional experience in Procurement, Finance, Accounting, and/or Supply Chain Management
