Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Inc. seeks a VP, Business Development & Licensing for the Sales department. Work with SVP to negotiate movie and TV, EST and VOD licensing deals and amendments with U.S. and Global partners. Contribute to the development and refinement of WBHE's digital transactional strategy and liaise with other executives within and outside WBHE division to help implement the company's strategic and operational plans. Identify new business opportunities in the digital media space.

What part will you play?

Negotiate new and amendments to existing transactional licensing agreements: Includes global, broadband, satellite, cable, IPTV, Hotel and physical / digital hybrid clients.

Embed flexibility into deals which enable WB to optimize revenue.

Maintain consistency and clarity on key license terms, and articulates and quantifies impacts of particular decisions.

Work closely with Legal, Sales, Business Unit, Finance, Tech Ops and Executive leadership to align business strategy and codify into license agreements.

Assess and assimilates new business models into existing agreements.

Develop negotiating strategy and tactics tailored to specific negotiations.

Identify, prioritize and pursue new business development activity for the division: Identify and negotiate potential strategic partners, alliances, relationships, and business models to expand core business, or bring new product lines to the Division like 4k HDR, virtual reality, etc.

Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending path forward. Negotiate and incubate new businesses and partners that support WB strategic priorities.

Seek new partners to complement and potentially merge with existing, established clients.

Pursue promotional opportunities, (i.e. CE & CPG companies), which contribute profit or exposure to WBHE.

Collaborate with WB Corporate, other WB divisions, and International to develop global, studio-wide opportunities. Provide business development support to technology and other teams as needed.

Collaborate with International territories to harmonize agreements and optimize revenue potential: Communicate U.S. business developments and potential impacts for International territories.

Provide guidance and recommendations based upon Domestic experience.

Assist in local International negotiations as necessary.

Work with Business Units and Sales to achieve global-scale on key promotions and new releases.

Drive holistic, worldwide WB-view with respect to new client activity.

Lead interaction with new and existing clients related to new digital products and technology: Assemble cross-functional teams as required to review technical product roadmaps.

Liaise with Technical Operations, Sales, and Business Units to identify future opportunities and develop WB POV on new technologies and products.

Explain new technology benefits and path to implementation with existing clients.

What do we require from you?

BA in Sales / Management / Marketing or equivalent work experience required.

8 years experience dealing with digital customers and transactional licensing.

Proven track record in negotiating with large digital media partners.
