Summary:

Facebook is looking for an experienced Unscripted Development Executive for Media Partnerships. The goal of this role is to work with content producers around the world to develop and produce episodic video programming that is well-suited for new and emerging consumption patterns and mobile/social/community-based viewing experiences. The successful candidate will have a passion for and solid entertainment industry relationships in the unscripted space, have been in an editorial leadership role and have deep understanding of the media and entertainment ecosystem. This will be a full-time role based out of our Los Angeles office.

Required Skills:

Be a hands-on creative executive for current and development

Navigate internal stakeholders to shepherd projects through development and launch

Serve as a conduit between Facebook and executives/talent across the entertainment industry

Use data and insights to influence the entertainment development flow and analyze its impact on the Facebook platform

Minimum Qualifications:

BA or BS Degree

7 years experience in the entertainment industry

Experience leading a team in a cross-functional work setting

Experience leading the process for pilots and series

Experience working with agents, managers, producers, studios, production companies and publishers

Knowledge of Facebook’s strategic and competitive position as well as the markets

Knowledge of Facebook products and social media and the Watch landscape

Communication and presentation experience, and experience with clarifying and summarizing issues

Collaboration and relationship-building experience and experience in developing work relationships

Experience with juggling multiple projects at once

Track record of delivering content

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to work in a dynamic environment

Hunger for challenge and opportunity, rapid learner who thrives in a fast-paced environment
