University Relations & Talent Development LeadMotorola Mobility LLC - Schaumburg, IL
The University Relations & Talent Development leader will be responsible for all aspects of recruiting, training and ongoing development of Infrastructure Engineering personnel. This includes:
Working with leaders to identify recruiting needs (including internships) and partner with Talent Acquisition team to execute on the plan.
Total coordination of all University career fairs/recruiting trips, including but not limited to:
Finalizing list of schools to recruit at and creating overall schedule and strategy for the year
Registering and paying for all career fairs
Ensuring we have appropriate personnel coverage and supplies at fairs
Schedule all follow up interviews/logistics in partnership with the Talent Acquisition Team
Ensure offers are extended to selected recruits in a timely manner
Work closely with hiring managers, learning team and Engineering SMEs to ensure we have an on-boarding and training plan in place and that it is constantly refreshed
Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Team, Finance and HRBP in the opening and management of all headcount requisitions
Create standard set of metrics to assess the ROI of certifications and learning programs being leveraged across the organization.
In partnership with the Learning organization, develop and help deliver an ongoing Leadership training
Serve as a business project lead for assigned training initiatives to coordinate efforts of SMEs, vendors and other employees designing and/or delivering training.
Partner with leaders and project teams to identify, prioritize and coordinate continuing education needs for technical and professional employees. This includes researching i
ndustry standards around professional development & certifications required for critical roles.
Serve as the main liaison between HR and the business group
Partner with leaders to develop standardized job descriptions for core roles across the business group
Provide direction to Managers and Employees to optimize the use of existing
Learning Management System (LMS) content. Be the main point of contact to our Learning organization on additional needs/requirements.
