As a Sourcing Analyst Intern, you manage an uninterrupted supply of materials and services, implementing strategies designed to offset inflation, globalize our supply chain, and improve our bottom line.  You will do this through supply and demand analysis, strategic negotiations, market and industry analysis and category strategies.  

Must be have the ability to complete a 10-week internship from early June- mid August 2018
The internship program is project based, and drafted off work that our Full Time Analysts do.  It is designed to offer a unique opportunity to impact our business through research, analysis, negotiations and strategy creation. We work to match interns with assignments based on educational background, skill set and career interests.

 
Responsibilities
What Will I Do?
As a Sourcing Analyst Intern, you manage an uninterrupted supply of materials and services, implementing strategies designed to offset inflation, globalize our supply chain, and improve our bottom line.  You will do this through supply and demand analysis, strategic negotiations, market and industry analysis and category strategies.  Additional ways to make an impact: 

Lead continuous global and regional process improvement aimed at delivering process excellence within Sourcing.
Proactively identify process and capabilities \u2018\u2019best practices\u2019\u2019 to help General Mills drive savings and efficiencies across the globe
Complete Analysis of key Sourcing data to identify trends and opportunities

Qualifications
Who Is Qualifed To Apply?

YOU if you\u2019re pursuing a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Supply Chain Management, Economics or Business (any concentrations e.g. Finance, Marketing, etc.) and have a strong academic record- typically a 3.0 GPA or higher
We\u2019re also seeking individuals with strong interpersonal skills, analytical and decision making skills, entrepreneurial qualities necessary for managing risk and leading change, and a curiosity and passion for learning and continuous improvement
Must be have the ability to complete a 10-week internship from early June- mid August 2018

Interns must have completed their Sophomore or Junior year.
