Status: HourlyCommercial driver applicants will not be considered for employment unless they meet the minimum requirements listedbelow.• Be at least 21 years old Be able to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public, tounderstand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports andrecords• Be physically and mentally qualified to drive a company vehicle and possess a valid medical certificate as definedin 49 CFR Part 391• Possess a current and valid commercial driver’s license and proper endorsements for the type of commercialvehicle to be driven• Must not be disqualified to drive a commercial/non-commercial motor vehicle under the rules and regulationsset forth in 49 CFR Part 391.15• Meets all of the requirements and be able to perform all of the tasks and essential duties of the job description• Has not been convicted of any of the following violations within the previous five years:o Driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugso Reckless driving/speed contestso Hit and run accidentso Vehicular manslaughter/homicideo Leaving the scene of an accidento Failure to report an accidento Improper or erratic lane changingo Distracted driving (including cell phone use [texting or talking] while driving)o Flee/elude police officero Passing a stopped school buso Refusal to submit to a alcohol and/or drug testo Operating with a suspended or revoked license• Has not experienced any of the following within the previous three years:o Two “at fault” accidentso Three moving violationso Two moving violations and one “at fault” accidento Tested positive to drugs or alcohol SUPERVISORY
