Our Transportation Planning team is looking for a driven and adaptable Transportation Network Analyst whose action-oriented mindset will foster continued growth throughout our leading brands. In this highly visible role located in our Global Corporate Headquarters of Ewing, NJ, you will be primarily responsible for supporting the execution of the overall Church & Dwight Transportation strategy to meet the company’s cost and service goals. This position will also be responsible for developing, implementing, and leveraging creative solutions to solve business needs in the department. This role is designed as a rotational assignment with an expected duration of 24 months. Upon completion of this assignment, the analyst would move to a position in the department based on needs and qualifications. What you’ll do:• Assist in identifying and implementing solutions to drive improvement in Transportation cost and service key performance indicators (KPI’s). In addition, developing new KPI’s where appropriate.• Support all Transportation bid activities as necessary for North America and assist with rate management activities throughout the year.• Responsible for assisting in the preparation and facilitation for carrier meetings.• Supporting the rationalization of carrier partner network to include: o Adding/removing carriers as necessary. o Assist in carrier contract maintenance as needed.• Identify and implement G2G projects for Transportation.• Project analysis involving cross-functional logistics teams to implement new opportunities. What you’ll need:• Bachelor’s degree from four-year College or university with concentration in Supply Chain or Logistics.• One to two years of experience in a logistics or Transportation environment.• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of products, with a strong background in Excel.• An understanding of Logistics Systems, Transportations Systems, SAP, and experience with advanced analytical tools preferred.• Strong analytical skills, interpersonal skills, and communication skills, both oral and written.• Candidate must possess the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.• Ability to identify and transfer “Best Practices” to business operations.
