Job Description

Ecolab is seeking a Field Training Specialist in our EcoSure division to deliver training & calibration solutions which increase field calibration and quality assurance. This position will partner with Field Operations and Training, Quality Assurance, Account Management, and subject matter experts at all levels of the organization to identify and deliver regional on-the-job training & calibration coaching to full-time EcoSure Specialists in the field. Additionally, the incumbent will be responsible for performing on-site customer evaluations and training in the area of food safety practices.

Position can be based in Naperville, Illinois or any other location in the US (remote).

Main Responsibilities:

Partner with the Field Operations and Training teams to plan and implement training programs which drive field calibration and execution.

Deliver technical and new specialist training programs that meet adult learning needs.

Evaluate and measure training performance and effectiveness.

Conduct on-site evaluations at customer locations (including food safety, workplace safety, brand standards, and cleanliness).

Work with EcoSure operations in solving customer issues and questions and assist in new program launches & re-launches.

Understand customer inspection requirements and train on all evaluation protocols.

Analyze audit result data to determine potential calibration issues at the Field specialist level, and partner with Field Operations, Training and the Account Team to develop and implement a plan of action for calibration coaching.

Provide calibration coaching feedback to Field specialists via phone, email and in-person calibration training.

Partner with the account team to monitor the customer mailbox for audit program clarifications

Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and customer base.

Maintain professional credentials and remain knowledgeable on current state and federal industry regulations.

Provide administrative reports meeting all deadlines. Report examples include monthly expense reports, monthly progress reports, training and quality assurance feedback reports, etc.

Serves as a resource for the District Managers for Starbucks Standardizations.

For certain potential customers:

This position may require completion of customer playground evaluations. EcoSure employees must be willing and able to complete hands-on inspection of playgrounds mimicking child’s play in the play structure (climbing, crawling in tight areas, going down tube slides, etc.)

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree

CP-FS or RS/REHS credential

5 years experience in the food safety audit business or foodservice management

Ability to travel up to 75% of the time

Valid Driver’s License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (2 years)

Ability to lift 25lbs (infrequent requirement)

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced degree in food science, environmental health, curriculum/education or related field

Versed on FDA Food Code, knowledge of local codes a plus

3-5 years in training, development and/or related experience

Self-directed and able to work independently

Ability to work with all levels of management within an organization

Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills

Strong planning, coordination, and time management skills

Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

Solid sense of integrity and ethics

Computer skills including proficiency with: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
