GENERAL SUMMARY:     

This position is responsible for the coordination of all Airgas South Division employee development initiatives and serves as the administrator of the Airgas Learning Management System (Airgas University) to track employee training participation and progress. Under the strategic guidance of the Director of Talent Management, this position will be responsible for the assignment & tracking of all online Airgas University training courses. In addition, this position will partner with the Talent Development Managers to assist and provide support with training coordination, scheduling, registration, training logistics, etc. Assists with other administrative tasks associated with training programs. This position will also coordinate all technical training, product training, and SAP related training; as well as coordinates and track participation in any outside vendor-led training activities. May coordinate or administer assessments, surveys, and other specialized training or development activities for employees. The Training Coordinator is also responsible for maintaining accurate training records for all employees, and compiling reports and statistics.','!*!

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Serve as single point of contact for the Learning Management System - Airgas University (AU) and coordinate with the corporate AU Coordinator and LMS vendor for any maintenance.

Set up user accounts and manage curriculum assignments in Learning Management System for new hires and tenured employees.

Input training data into the Learning Management System for tracking and reporting purposes.

Determine and arrange logistical requirements for training events and activities such as booking facilities, lodging, and catering.

Schedule, coordinate, track and maintain training records for all employees.

Publish and manage training schedule, attendance and updates with the Talent Development Managers.

Design and develop reports from the Learning Management System to track completion of courses, evaluations and overall scores.

Research external training and development opportunities for the organization’s employees and liaise with training vendors.

Organize and develop training manuals and reference libraries.

Prepare and administer evaluations such as tests and surveys for training programs.

Drive training compliance validation process in Learning Management System.

Prepare program and instructor evaluation reports.

Prepare training presentations, as needed.

Maintain content on Sharepoint site

Monitor the AU Helpdesk for SDIV and troubleshoot/resolve issues

Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Education:

BA/BS degree in related discipline preferred or equivalent of experience in training & development

Computer Skills: Preferable experience with Cornerstone LMS or advanced knowledge of LMS software systems, inclusive of setup, configuration, course management, troubleshooting and reporting.

Required Length & Type of Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of training administration and coordination experience

Knowledge and experience utilizing instructional design methods are a plus.
