SUMMARYRoyal Building Products, a US building products manufacturer, has a full-time opening for a Territory Sales Manager role in the Colorado, Utah, and Idaho region.\\rThe focus of this role is to work as a trusted partner of the distributor expanding the overall volume and mix of products.  The TSM is also responsible for achieving company sales, mix and profitability targets in the assigned sales territory.\\rESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESQuickly establish strong relationships with all existing customersCreate opportunity and take additional share within our distribution channelsEstablish heavy focus on dealer & contractor relationships to ‘pull’ business through to distributors (both existing & new)Analyze territory distribution needs and establish targets for additional distributionHave full understanding of installation of all products in order to assist distributors in training as well as customer service needsParticipate in channel strategy for territoryWork closely with Marketing Department to provide information and support programsOperate within expense budget parametersProvide intelligence to marketing departmentActively participate, as required, in inter-company teams and work groupsMake presentations, demonstrate products and represent the company at trade showsMaintain contact with dealers and distributors, and analyze sales statistics to determine sales potential and inventory requirements and to monitor customers' preferencesConduct field visits to customers and sell servicesIncrease sales for the Royal Building Product brandsPrepare proposals and contractsConduct meetings, presentations, follow-ups and proposals\\rQUALIFICATION & SKILL REQUIREMENTSMinimum of three years direct sales experience required; building product sales experience preferredExcellent negotiating skillsStrong relationship building skillsAbility to manage several projects simultaneously, detail oriented An enthusiastic, self-starter with good interpersonal skillsRequires the consultative mind-set, solution oriented method of sellingExisting strong relationships within the dealer and/or distribution channel a plusBachelor’ degree preferred\\rSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESNone\\rPHYSICAL DEMANDSWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to hold, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.\\rWORK ENVIRONMENTJob will require 60% travel on average. Ability to be away from home for multiple nights per week and riding in automobiles for several hours per day is required. Insurability and valid US state driver’s license is mandatory.,
