We are currently seeking a Temporary Assistant in our Human Resources department. This position organizes and maintains employee personnel files, provides customer services to Moda employees and visitors, inputs data into the HRIS (Human Resource Information System), and assists team members in various other HR functions.
This is a full-time, onsite position in Downtown Portland, Oregon.

Required Skills, Experience & Education:
\tHigh school diploma or equivalent.
\tEffective planning and priority setting. Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.
\tComputer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, HRIS databases.
\tStrong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to listen and respond to information effectively.
\tProven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
\tAbility to come into work on time.
\tMaintain confidentiality and project a positive and professional business image.
\tPossess problem solving and decision-making skills.
\tMaintains personnel files by scanning, filing, and organizing employee files.
\tProvides timely, accurate customer service to employees and visitors while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
\tEnters employee information into HRIS databases.
\tProcesses new hire paperwork.
\tResponds to employment verification requests and other time-sensitive employee communications.
\tAssists and supports all HR team members with miscellaneous clerical tasks including sending birthday gifts, coordinating bereavement baskets, etc.
\tPerforms other duties as assigned.
