A senior will have a high degree of proficiency with Cisco UC and Collaboration technologies and it's dependencies including the underlying network technology, and must be able to provide Cisco Unified Communications design, implementation, support and management expertise in a large scale multi-site environment. The senior is the first level of escalation for the Telecom Engineers, and as such it is expected they will mentor the engineers and administrators that depend on their support. Essential Functions:

Establish requirements for and manages all phases of UC and Content Center projects including design, development, implementation, and support

Have an in-depth understanding of the capabilities and features supported by Cisco UCM, UCCE, and related technologies

Serves as an adviser to management and other Telecom staff for the implementation of collaboration related features and infrastructure

Manage enterprise telephony infrastructure including Cisco UCM, UC, Telepresence, UCCE and gateways including CUBE and Oracle SBC’s

Provide escalation support in troubleshooting Cisco UCM, UC, and UCCE call routing and voice related issues

Provide expertise with Cisco voice gateway troubleshooting and debugging

Supports the deployment of voice, video, and related services to offices of various sizes

Performs timely vulnerability and bug reviews and remediation by planning patches and upgrades of existing IPT infrastructure UC and Collaboration Infrastructure (hardware and software)

Participate in change and release windows as necessary for maintenance and upgrade purposes

Provide functional guidance, advice, and/or training to other team members

Present to management complex Telecom strategies in a simplified and concise manner

Participates in the technical documentation process and maintaining engineering artifacts Additional Responsibilities:

','!*!Candidate Education:

Required A Bachelor's Degree in a related field Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, etc.

Required or equivalent work experience 5-7 years of experience in a related field (i.e. Cisco UC routing and switching, Cisco UCCE, etc.) Candidate Experience:

Required 6 years of experience in Supporting Cisco UCM, Unity connection, and Telepresence

Required 5 years of experience in Extensive troubleshooting of Cisco UCM, Unity Connections, and Telepresence call routing and voice related issues

Required 5 years of experience in Working with Cisco TAC, and leveraging various Cisco online and troubleshooting tools (DSP calculator, RTMT, CUCM traces, ICM dumplog, VLT/TranslatorX, and RTTEST, Feature Navigator, etc.)

Required 5 years of experience in Demonstrated ability to perform complex problem isolation with telecommunications infrastructures including PRI, voice DS3, and SIP trunking

Required 5 years of experience in Supporting H.323, MGCP, and SIP Protocols

Preferred 5 years of experience in Supporting Cisco Voice Gateways including 3900, 4400, VG224, VG310

Preferred 5 years of experience in Strong understanding and troubleshooting Cisco IOS & IOS-XE

Required 3 years of experience in Extensive troubleshooting of SIP

Preferred 3 years of experience in Supporting multi-site Cisco Unified Contact Center Enterprise implementations

Preferred 3 years of experience in Extensive troubleshooting of UCCE call routing and voice related issues

Preferred 3 years of experience in Strong understanding of QoS/CoS

Preferred 2 years of experience in Familiarity with supporting and maintaining a Cisco Telepresence environment

Preferred 2 years of experience in Demonstrated ability to perform complex problem isolation in LAN/WAN environments, and an intermediate understanding of network routing protocols including BGP, EIGRP, and OSPF, and configurations including VLAN and trunking (802.1Q)

Preferred Other Working knowledge of Cisco Routing and Switching

Preferred Other Working knowledge of Windows and Linux Operating Systems

Preferred 2 years of experience in Supporting call and screen recording solutions for Cisco UC and UCCE such as NICE, Calabrio, etc.

Required Other Working knowledge of Cisco VPN Technologies

Preferred Other Familiarity VXML application development and deployment

Preferred Other Familiarity with Cisco CVP and VXML application troubleshooting

Preferred Other Cisco Jabber & Microsoft Lync/Skype for Business Voice Integration Candidate Skills:
