Description

Sensing and shaping the consumer product demand signal to enable delivering the right product to the consumer at the right time, balancing revenue goals, margin expectations, and inventory risk in Beaverton, OR. Will ensure that proper tools are in place to create a timelier and accurate demand signal, and enabling productivity and collaboration within the retail and demand planning communities. Will define, deliver, and support solutions that enable world class planning processes and results. Will work with the Demand Planning Capability team to orchestrate complex initiatives from idea to concept and prototyping through development, delivery and support. Will find the intersection of consumer needs, technical feasibility, and business objectives, and then lead a cross-functional team to deliver against the opportunity. Will partner with stakeholders to gather product definition, prioritize work and ensure alignment. Will create detailed product requirements and work closely with Retail Planning, Demand Planning, and Supply Chain stakeholder teams to build and deliver the product. Will participate in scoping and solving new business problems using knowledge and experience with demand planning and supply chain planning processes and capabilities to identify the best solution and develop resource and cost estimates based on experience. Will deliver the overall business and systems analysis on various projects, working with other agile team members while also contributing individually to achieve results. Will lead requirements elicitation sessions including use of interviews, document analysis, workshops, surveys, and using the systems under analysis to deliver functional and non-functional requirements. Will identify all impacts to business process and systems through impact analysis of new requirements and solution designs. Will facilitate integration with 3rd party products and services. Will create key artifacts including use cases, user personas, user stories, wireframes, functional specifications, user acceptance criteria, and configuration specifications. Will collaborate with Epic Owners, Capability Teams, Project Managers and Product Teams to implement the agreed upon vision. Will communicate and align strategy with key internal and external stakeholders. Will partner with the Demand Planning COE Team to define, maintain and drive the roadmap for the Demand Planning capability. Will partner with the Demand Planning COE Team to make product prioritization and trade-off decisions among customer experience, technical constraints and business drivers. Will work closely with program and portfolio teams, engineering teams, and production support teams to deliver products to users. Will execute full range of lifecycle management, from enhancements to new development. Will ensure alignment with the overall business strategy and direction from Product Director and senior management. Will travel domestically and internationally 10 percent.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Business Experience: 7 years of overall progressive experience in retail planning, supply planning, or demand planning Skills/Requirements: 4 years of experience: (1) SAP SCM, (2) SAP SCM integration using SCA, (3) customizing SAP SCM to an organization’s particular business requirements, (4) SAP SCM with attribute based planning (ABP extension), (5) statistical forecasting, (6) leading teams of 10 IT professionals, (7) designing, analyzing, and prototyping an application to ensure the successful development and technical resolution, and (8) tracing data and information in multiple systems, including root cause analysis.
