POSITION SUMMARY: This role is for a Technical Writer who will support the Client Services area in CS&T. The objective of this role is to collaborate with our business partners to help design and document new and existing procedures. This person will engage with business partners to analyze, implement and update processes by using sound process improvement models and techniques. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Act as a thought partner working with the business to identify and mitigate regulatory risks where applicable through process documentationCollaborate and influence audiences across different functions and at different levels in the organizationDevelop professional content that addresses regulatory issues, e.g., SOX and SSAE16, where applicableFacilitates documentation meetings with multiple business partners; responsible for standardizing proceduresWorks with various functional units to analyze and document current business processes and determine areas for improvement (reliability and efficiency). Includes reporting out to business and/or upper leadershipWorks effectively with business lines to identify opportunities to improve business process and optimize value through the application of Lean, Six Sigma and continuous improvements tools and methodologiesProduces high-level documentation and visual communication to drive and improve TIAA operational processes.Ensures alignment and focus on business unit with cross-site operations and company-wide goals, strategies and priorities. Qualifications: QUALIFICATIONS: Required Qualifications: Bachelor�??s degree required. Preferred degree in Communications or English 3 or more years of direct technical documentation experience or relevant job experience including financial and/or data research and analysis experience3-5 of years of experience with Visio and MS Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint (SUMIFs, Pivot Tables, VBA Lookups) Preferred Qualifications: Must have excellent oral and written communications skills, in addition to critical persuasive and influencing agilitiesSolid understanding of the technical writing process and linear approach to process design and experience following the guidelines from the Chicago Manual of StyleExcellent presentation capabilities necessary for facilitating and negotiating with various business professionals Equal Employment Opportunity is not just the law, it�??s our commitment.
