Are you a passionate, dedicated and a motivated Vital Sync User Support Analyst looking for a new challenge? In this role, you will use expertise in customer service and technical knowledge gained from previous experience to provide remote support to Vital Sync customers. You will use extensive hardware and software experience to manage support cases for the Vital Sync product. It is critical for this role to want to support customers and be able to triage after hours cases.

Perform as a Level 2 support engineer of the Vital Sync product:

Deeply understand the installation process for all HIM products.

Create/maintain documentation such that support can be understood and executed with minimal guidance by others with skill in the space such as a contractor.

Deeply understand the site assessment for various technologies such as WPAN and WLAN and other network methodologies.

Work with Hospital network personnel to understand and provide configuration recommendations to optimize the Vital Sync platform.

Create site specific documentation for this activity such that support can be understood and executed with minimal guidance by others with skill in the space such as a contractor or Covidien Service Provider.

Participate in developing a “Knowledge Sharing” tool that will allow easy capture and dissemination of the learnings during installations to a broader group.

Provide “Level 2” technical support for all HIM products, answering the deeper questions posed by customers while escalating to Level 3 and level 4(RD), as appropriate.

Act as back up for remote software deployments and upgrades as necessary.

Develop and deploy systems for configuration management for customer installation.

Develop and deploy hardware and software tools that enable field installations and configurations.

Travel requirement: 25%.

**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**

**EDUCATION REQUIRED**

GED/High School Graduate

**YEARS OF EXPERIENCE**

10 years of IT experience with a GED/High School Graduate

6 years of IT experience with Associate Degree

2 years of IT experience with a Bachelors Degree

Some IT Experience with a Masters Degree

**SPECIALIZED SKILLS OR KNOWLEDGE:**

Experience with customers and deploying technology in a customer environment, with a strong preference for hospital experience

Windows Server experience

**Nice to Have:**

Bachelor’s Degree

2 years with Virtualized environments with a preference for VMWare

2 years with network equipment like Cisco, WiFi access points, Fortinet, Firewalls, Load Balancers etc.

2 years using a programming language like Powershell, Python, VBscript to automate tasks in a Windows environment.
