Technical Product Manager (Automotive)

Job Description:

NVIDIA is seeking a Technical Product Manager to define an extraordinary automotive development experience for the DRIVE Platform for autonomous vehicles.

Do you understand the key requirements for a software development platform? Are you experienced with modern software development environments and the needs of automotive and/or embedded developers? Do you have experience defining developer workflows for embedded development? If so, we are looking for you to join our team!

Your primary role will be to define a platform on behalf of our number one customer, the developer. You will partner with engineering and work with functional teams across the company including: marketing, solution architects, documentation, and quality assurance to make our developers happy!

In this role, you will be expected to work closely with engineering and product teams across the company to provide a unified development platform, consisting of C/C /CUDA development, debugging, and profiling, as well as embedded and real-time system profiling.

As an authority in automotive software development for the DRIVE Platform, you will coordinate with engineering and platform architects to initiate proof-of-concept projects, define requirements, developer workflows, and monitor product quality, platform usability, developer satisfaction, and efficiency.

Define roadmap and strategy for the automotive development experience for the DRIVE Platform

Manage alignment with various products used as platform for development

Engage with key internal and external customers in the automotive ecosystem

Survey internal and external customers to determine how happy they are with the development platform

Collaborate closely with marketing, engineering, program management, release and customer facing teams from roadmap to deployment to ensure a high-quality development experience

Create and communicate competitive and domain analysis

What we

need

to

see:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering (MBA a plus)

Technical ability to understand and define a world-class competitive development environment for automotive and embedded developers

Proven track record of successful Product Management with at least 5 years experience

Product Management experience in automotive and mobile domains preferred

Proven ability to run large scale, complex projects or product lines

A hungry entrepreneurial spirit and insatiable appetite to get stuff done

Process oriented and collaborative attitude

5 years programming in a modern programming language advantageous

Thorough knowledge of software engineering principles, process, and agile development methodologies

Knowledge of Linux, QNX, CUDA, software development tools, graphics principles and standards are a plus
