The Solutions Coaching & Consultation department exists to lead the implementation strategy and application of the 5-step Process (a solutions-based approach) to meet client needs and increase client loyalty.  The department also leads the strategy and support of solutions-based tools that branch teams use to identify and document client goals.

  Lead a team of solutions specialists and project leaders whose responsibilities include: Accelerate the consistent application of the 5-step Process (solutions-based advice) to enable every branch team to deliver tailored solutions to meet client needs.

Integrate and apply the firm's ongoing advice and guidance with products and services into training, tools, coaching and performance support.

Launch and support new and enhanced tools, products, services, and advice and guidance that meet client needs.

Drive branch team's delivery of tailored solutions (the application of the right mix of investments, insurance, banking, cash, trust and/or core services) by providing what branch teams need to know, do and say.

Influence and assist in the creation and delivery of firm training to apply the 5-step process, primary client needs, product knowledge and client segmentation.

Support and in some cases lead targeted, practice management level-based support programs for trimester action plan hand-raisers.

As player / coach serve as the primary business consultant to develop and lead the Region Solutions Team and support senior leaders (field / home office) in achieving Region and Area business objectives

Develop and execute Solutions Coaching Team objectives and monitor team performance in support of department and firm objectives.

Provide appropriate resources, support and direction to help associates meet the needs of the team and firm

Provide feedback, coaching, training and guidance to help develop associates to enhance current and future contributions

Expert understanding of all existing and developing tools and resources (Annual Review, Financial Foundation Tab Basic & Advanced Analyses, Portfolio including Builder, Rebalancer, Screener, Relationship Manager, Serve Clients, PFO, Client Presentation Folder and CCG)

Represent department on division and firm-wide committees and projects

Ability to thoroughly understand and analyze the issues from multiple points of view to conclude the best possible outcome for clients, branches, the division and the firm

Bachelor's degree required, master's degree preferred

Series 7 & 66 required

CFP® required (process to begin within 6 months of hire)

4 years of experience in financial services industry required (direct day to day client support and / or  financial advisor experience)

2 years of formal leadership or management experience preferred ; informal leadership experience required

Outstanding written, verbal, communication, and presentation skills

Expert understanding of branch processes including implementation of the 5-step Process with clients to help branch teams fully deliver on our Value Proposition

Strong ability to deliver on-going projects while responding to risks and opportunities appropriately for the benefit of our branch teams and clients

Proficiency with Microsoft tools.

Strong knowledge of financial planning concepts and specific solutions offered by Edward Jones and within the investment industry

Expert ability coaching others (at distance and in person) to achieve results and/or communicate the SBA value proposition
