RESPONSIBILITIES

SUMMARY

This position utilizes excellent customer service and problem solving skills to confidently provide information and education to E*TRADE FINANCIAL’s customers in a timely, efficient, professional manner; provides clear and accurate responses to customer inquiries; appropriately researches and resolves problems relating to customer accounts and inquiries; meets established performance expectations; develops a comprehensive operational understanding of the financial services industry; proactively learns and remains up-to-date with the Company’s products and services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has three main responsibilities.

The first is to manage their individual book of business and/or lead flow

The second is to lead their team in all areas, including performance management metrics.

The third is to assist in management of the department by working directly with the Team Manager on various developmental activities.

The Team Lead has the authority to handle and resolve customer escalations independently, assist Team Manager with daily duties including the following:

Handling and resolving escalations,

Monitoring and coaching employees on sales activities and skills,

Input into the review process and project management.

Provide response primarily to advanced or difficult customer inquiries via phone and e-mail regarding account information, procedures, systems and products.

Utilize independent decision making skills to resolve issues, identify areas for process and department improvement.

The principal challenge is to proactively assist both department and team development while meeting/exceeding individual sales expectations.

Duties and Responsibilities beyond RM role:

May serve in a temporary leadership role during absence of Team Manager.

Demonstrate leadership within the group on a daily basis.

Assist Team Manager with daily duties. This includes monitoring job performance and coaching employees on team.

Will provide Manager with input related to the employee review process.

Help employees create specific plans to improve their performance.

Assist RMs and customers in resolving escalated inquiries utilizing independent decision-making skills. Involved in identifying and targeting areas in need of improvement and creating workable solutions to problems.

May be involved in proposal writing and development.

Communicate and promote the ideals of E*TRADE FINANCIAL.

Demonstrate a clear understanding of individual, team and company objectives.

Must be flexible to a dynamic environment of fluctuating business needs.

REQUIREMENTS

Basic Qualifications

BA/BS preferably in business administration, finance or related field.

2 years E*TRADE sales/relationship management experience preferred.

Excellent sales/relationship management attitude and work ethic

Series 7 & 63 licensed.

Mastery of Relationship Manager job skills and responsibilities.

Proven track record of sales successes within respective book customer base (asset acquisition, account growth and retention).

Proven track record with service issues (no customer complaints with follow up, clear capability with respect to all ETF systems and operational processes).

Excellent knowledge of ETF Compliance practices and proven track record working within ETF Compliance and industry regulatory parameters.
