IBM Client Innovation Center in Monroe has an immediately opening for a Talent Manager with a passion for growth and innovation. The Talent Manager will work closely with the IBM North America and Global Learning teams, local Delivery Managers and Account Leadership to identify, develop, deploy and facilitate learning and knowledge activities to support the career development of the team along with the strategic growth of the business. Tasks include new hire orientation and onboard training, laptop deployment, development training, sponsor for Center newsletter, community outreach and recruiting initiatives. Additional responsibilities may include providing input on learning strategies, managing education deployment plans, skill gap assessment and collaboration with counterparts in other regions to ensure consistent content deployment. The Talent Manager will also have people management responsibilities for a small team of technical professionals.

The IBM Client Innovation Center is an in-bound delivery model where we support our clients from our Monroe center. However, some travel is expected and all candidates must be willing and able to travel to meet our client needs across the US. Travel is typically related to knowledge transfer and training at the client site (Monday thru Friday). You are expected to travel approximately 50% of the time. This is a traditional office position. You must live in , or be willing to relocate to, LOUISIANA . The work location is 150 Venable Lane, Monroe LA 71203. This is not a work from home position.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

At least 9 years of overall relevant experience

At least 2 years experience in Presentation skills, including public speaking in front of large groups of 30 or more

At least 2 years experience in Training development or deployment

At least 2 years experience in Recruiting including engagement with University Relations

HR People management experience including annual performance evaluations, compensation management, career planning/development discussions

Strong communication skills written & verbal are a must

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

At least 7 years experience in Presentation skills, including public speaking in front of large groups of 30 or more

At least 7 years experience in Training development or deployment

At least 5 years experience in Recruiting including engagement with University Relations

At least 2 years Public Relations experience

People management experience

Strong communication skills written & verbal are a must

Technical Background a plus

Telecommunications industry experience a plus

Experience working in a large, matrixed organization a plus
