The Talent Acquisition Events Specialist is responsible for collecting and maintaining recruiting support materials, training hiring managers and recruiting ambassadors for hiring events, and supporting Raytheon recruiting strategy across the enterprise. This individual will align with our talent acquisition in Raytheon’s Integrated Defense Systems (IDS) business in order to create scalable and compelling recruiting approaches that elevate Raytheon’s value proposition to potential employees. In partnership with communications and/ or external agencies create content for Raytheon recruitment advertising on both traditional (newspaper, radio, digital etc) and social outlets (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.) Contribute to the development and growth of candidate engagement strategies and interact with both active and passive followers Coordinate with IDS Communications and Talent Acquisition teams to build (and maintain) a recruiting toolkit of multimedia, reference tools, demonstrations and other recruiting aids Keep up to date on industry trends/social/recruitment strategies and work with talent acquisition lead/managers to implement new tactics as necessary Support measurement/ROI for all IDS TA activities and events Work in partnership with Operations lead to report on KPIs Oversee LinkedIn Recruiter and across Raytheon IDS, ensuring proper utilization, adherence, and best practice execution Read, respond, and route all relevant recruiting social media discussions in a timely manner. Based on the feedback, provide insights into future programs that would address the greatest needs for the business Contribute to the creation and delivery of social media/recruitment trends/compliance training sessions in order to upskill and deploy Raytheon TA in driving both coherent participation in talent branding and attraction strategies as well as global brand and customer experience strategies Schedule and manage completion for all IDS TA events Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor's Degree 2 years of experience in social media or digital content space or event planning/branding Knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, required Travel required - 20% Desired Characteristics Excellent writing skills Demonstrable experience identifying shareable/viral content Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams Ability to abide by and enforce Raytheon’s social media and brand guidelines Effective communication and experience working across multiple departments Excellent organization and time management skills with initiative A blend of collaborative skills as well as being an independent self-starter Flexible and has ability to shift gears quickly between multiple campaigns and projects managed. Knowledge of social media publishing/listening/analytics platforms desired
