In this role you will be part of a team in Ecolab\u2019s Production System\u2019s highly visible Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program in Joliet, IL as we drive a cultural shift in continuous improvement. Assist in implementing rapid change; be a hands-on team member through the change process. Serve as a change initiative by promoting process disciplines, safety and quality focus.What You Will DoWorking under the primary direction of the TPM Facilitator \/ Manager, follow the TPM Corporate Strategy and perform duties on an as-needed basis to include:Work closely with the Pillar Leaders, Site Leadership team and plant employees to ensure establishment, implementation and continuous improvement of plant-wide TPM goalsCommunicate quality and safety awareness in performance of all tasksWork with leaders and managers as needed in 5S and Visual Workplace, Daily Operations Meeting, Autonomous Maintenance, Planned Maintenance, Focused Improvement, Training and People Development  to drive improvements and savings.Collect data and ensuring accuracy of all Loss Tree Data.  Develop and conduct regular audits of data.  Support the pareto of data, use and train others on the use of root cause analysis tools.  Work across teams, shifts and functions required to support TPM activitiesSupport the specification, design, build and launch of new equipment through the Early Equipment Management pillar of TPM. Facilitate and document Kaizens as well as VSM (Value Stream Mapping) and PDCA for large CI projects.Creating & delivering training and in performing training for core TPM toolsSupport all Autonomous Maintenance Teams and activities by providing technical expertise or support related to manufacturing.Work with HPWT (High Performance Work Teams) to coordinate equipment downtime needs with planning, maintenance and production to execute TPM activities.  Work with Engineering to support design, install, or troubleshoot manufacturing equipment.Work \u201chands-on\u201d in problem solving and participating in TPM implementation\/eventsPerform and deliver Daily OEE report as well as Weekly and Monthly Report (OEE Loss analysis)Support other areas (Quality, Safety, Maintenance, Logistics) in performing Loss analysisTroubleshoot new or existing product problems involving designs, materials or process.  Help identify losses or implement changes to improve products or reduce costs using knowledge of fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment, assembly methods, quality control standards, or product design, materials and parts.Develop and train others on how to develop TPM work instructions: One Point Lessons, Process Picture Maps, SOP\u2019s, Centerlines (CL) checklists, Cleaning Inspection Lubrication (CIL) checklists, SWES (Standard Work Element Sheet)Monitoring the progress of teams and TPM pillars as compared to the Master Plan and work where needed to ensure plant meets schedule objectivesAll other duties that may be required, including some travelNetwork and drive reapplication of learning\u2019s through the Regional TPM teamMinimum QualificationsBachelor\u2019s degreeMinimum 1 year of experience in a production\/manufacturing environmentImmigration Sponsorship is not offered for this positionPreferred QualificationsBachelor\u2019s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Science, Business, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, or Manufacturing EngineeringExperience with TPM
