The accounting group supporting the Partnership’s Refined Products Acquisition and Marketing (RPAM) and NGL Acquisition and Marketing (NGLA&M) group is responsible for the accounting and administration for all refined products and natural gas liquids purchase and sales activities. The Revenue & Contract Admin Supervisor position is responsible for supervising the sales invoice generation and contract administration processes within SAP’s ISOIL module.

Primary Responsibilities

This position is responsible for the accurate and timely revenue recognition within the RPA&M and NGLA&M businesses

Monitoring the daily duties of 3 FTE (2 revenue accountant and 1 SAP contract administrator).

Rectifying any questions/concerns for the day-to-day activity of the 2 Revenue Accountants,

Assisting in the preparation of sales invoices based on contracts, verifying and applying accurate prices and volumes.

Responsible for interfacing with external customers as needed to resolve all issues relating to RPA&M and NGLA&M billings.

Responsible for resolving any questions/concerns in relation to the day-to-day work of the SAP contract administrator including ensuring work is timely and accurate.

Responsible for the overall accuracy of revenue recognition, assisting the RPA&M Accounting Manager in any ad-hoc revenue analysis and other month end related duties.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or Business and minimum of 5 years of related work experience.

Must have strong analytical, accounting and PC skills as well as familiarity with database applications

Ability to learn and document processes, effective communications skills (verbal and written), and good interpersonal skills.

Must be a strong team player.

Must be able to identify the root cause(s) of accounting issues and be able to correctly resolve issues.

Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple deliverables at the same time with minimal supervision from management.

Must be willing provide overtime hours support as necessary particularly around month-end reporting.

Preferred Skills, Education, and Experience:

MBA or CPA is a plus

Experience in the oil/gas industry is desired, but not required
