To learn more about Pall, please visit www.pall.com/green.','!*!This fulltime temporary internship position for the summer months (end of May - August 2018) will, under the direct supervision and mentoring of the FTAP Technology - Technical Shared Services Director, follow established procedures to assist in the following areas:

Compliance: Understands and complies with company safety policies and procedures as related to this position. including reading all relevant safety literature, using required protective equipment and practicing good housekeeping.

Prototype Laboratory: Support New Product Development(NPD) and Retrofit Factory teams in production of prototype samples for customer evaluations, marketing samples and/or internal testing.  Assist prototype laboratory technical staff in various manufacturing techniques for forming filter media, assembling hardware and testing elements for construction integrity.

Laboratory Services:  Assist Materials Characterization, Filter Performance, and Analytical Chemistry Laboratory staff with various projects to deliver needed test results for characterizing filter performance of NPD and Retrofit prototypes.

Document Management:  Execute project to complete filter performance characterization templates for developed retrofit products in newly developed format.

Communicates: Provides timely reporting relative to results, progress, and status of current projects.

Kaizen: Participates in Kaizen events to support Laboratory 5S and Standard Work continuous improvement.

Flexibility: Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay for the position starts at $15.00/hr. ','!*!The successful candidate must:

be actively working towards a BS Degree or MS Degree in an Engineering discipline.

be in good standing with a College or University.

have knowledge of basic concepts, principles, practices and established procedures.

be self-directed to plan, execute, monitor, control and close assigned projects. 

possesses exemplary communication skills, written and verbal.

be comfortable with adjusting to unplanned expectations in conjunction with normal activities while maintaining organization.

Preference will be given to candidates with a GPA of 2.5 or greater.
