Description

The Global Brand Creative Studio is a cross-functional creative collective responsible for delivering brand defining creative experiences to geo and territory partners to execute. The Creative Studio Director, Brand Design Digital is a strategic team leader who ensures that the digital design studios run effectively and efficiently. The Creative Studio Director drives, implements, directs, and manages work, process and teams across the studio - inclusive of managing the digital design COE, planning and production of seasonal photoshoots, retail story telling and other digital workstreams. This leader also partners with category and functional leaders and operations teams to problem solve as we drive work through the Nike GamePLAN process.

Responsibilities:

Primary partner to Brand Design and NikeDirect to determine the studio's vision and priorities

Provide a leadership voice to Creative Studio Management, helping elevate the digital acumen across brand design supporting the One Studio strategy, mindset shift and realignment

Manages the Studio Management and Creative production teams for the studio and partners with creative leadership to identify and cultivate the teams strengths, interests and growth opportunities

Key point of contact for Marketing and NikeDirect Operations

Helps drive prioritization, briefing clarity, status tracking and geo transparency

Onboard FTEs and ETWs, including managing and ensure tracking hardware allocated to Design

Ensure Nike policies and procedures are followed with agencies and work

Plan offsite, inspiration and team building opportunities

Communicates risks, opportunities and solutions to partners and stakeholders

Fosters positive ways of working and implements strategic solutions to keep the studio on track

Defines and leads creative studio meeting cadence 

Skills:

Creative and digital design studio management

Organization strategy, growing and developing team

PO/Budget management

Communication/alignment

Ability to lead teams looking after multiple unrelated workstreams simultaneously (multiple categories and cross-category workstreams)

Facilitation and communication

Expectation management (dates, budgets, deliverables)

Solution orientation - Don't belabor issues...solve them

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Sales, Fashion, Marketing, Design or a related discipline

10 years' experience in brand or design operations

2 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree

Ability to work in a matrix environment with multiple business functions

Strong team player and ability to work with the cross functional partners and senior management on all aspects of the business

Travel 10% of the time
