Coordinates, writes, edits and produces employee and external communications products in support of plant activities and goals.



Produces communications products (print materials, employee articles, infographics, video and podcasts) in support of fleet and site efforts.

Writes and coordinates human interest profile pieces that highlight employee engagement both internally and externally.

Translates operational information into understandable and actionable communications products.

Partners with plant site communicator to ensure appropriate messaging in broad communications. Rewrites and combines site-specific communications for wider use as appropriate.

Assists in outage preparation efforts and post-outage communications, including internal communications and external press releases.

Ensures understanding of and commitment to business initiatives.

Organizes and executes executive visibility and feedback program.

Produces communications materials that highlight top focus areas.

Finds and produces positive employee news features on fleet, site and personal achievements.

Assists in establishing editorial or departmental standards. May edit the work of and/or provide guidance and direction to other staff members. May require project management knowledge including business processes such as budgeting, purchasing, request for proposal, etc.

Designs and produces communications audio-visual materials (infographics, photography pieces, graphic design elements, videos and intranet updates).

Assists with the management of Entergy's graphic standards and market branding, including strategies, materials and communication plans to support and promote major functional initiatives and projects.

Monitors industry news about the corporation and its competitors and identifies emerging issues.

Work with technical programs (Engineering and Nuclear Oversight) to communicate employee news on business direction and achievements.

Provides assistance to colleagues on communications campaigns, including Public Relations and Marketing.

Fosters employee recognition efforts for top performers exhibiting key behaviors that move the business forward.

Plans and executes regular measurement of messaging effectiveness.



Minimum education required of the position

Progress toward a Bachelor's degree in related Communications field or equivalent experience


Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position

Proficient in writing using AP style, Familiarization with desktop publishing and graphics software.
