Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.

As a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Suggest and justify product directions and specifications. Specify, design and implement moderate changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.

Overview

We are currently recruiting a proven Customer Program Manager in the Oracle Human Capital Management Cloud Customer Center of Excellence team to work with partners (system implementers) and select large strategic customers to ensure implementation excellence and success. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to support our growth of customers and partners as we launch the next generation of products on the HCM SaaS platform. As a member of the HCM Customer Center of Excellence team, you ll have the opportunity in this role to be the primary hands-on leader translating your customer program management, human resources implementation skills and passion for excellence into providing program management leadership to assigned strategic customers.

Responsibilities

Manage key large complex strategic customer implementations as assigned, including directing the cross-functional project teams involved.

Lead by advising customers and partners on key aspects of the Oracle HCM Cloud implementation.

Manage all parts of the project, working closely with customer, partner and Oracle leads for the following areas: pmo, functional, technical, integration, reporting.

Regularly meet with customer s executive team and influence customers to make the best product decisions to enable their organizations business.

Assist in transitioning customers post-implementation to the Customer Success Specialist.

Ensure a high degree of customer satisfaction throughout the implementation and the first 3 months post-live.

Evangelize HCM best practices in field usage throughout the organization and to customers.

Develop and maintain strong relationships and communication within the Product Development teams.

Manage related projects as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelors degree required, Masters preferred.

8 years of regular weekly interaction as a program leader with HR and IT executives of F500 companies, with demonstrated experience and examples of large scale success.

10 years of HR customer program management or functional enterprise-level experience.

Demonstrated ability to develop successful solutions for strategic F500 customers.

HCM implementation project leadership experience required, including: Talent, Global HR, Payroll, Compensation and Benefits (Fusion, E-Business Suite or PeopleSoft required).

5 or more years working with top-tier partners / system implementers.

Understanding of Oracle s cloud strategy and the competitive landscape.

Past experience speaking/presenting at a large HR product conference.

A creative and agile problem-solver.

Self-starting track record of success and credibility.

Strong proven customer relationship skills.

Ability to communicate effectively to all levels internally and externally.

Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Fluent English, both written and oral.

Position will be located in San Francisco. Other U.S. major cities will be considered.
