Strategic Account ManagerPorch - Seattle, WA
As a Strategic Account Manager, you will play a key role in the development and growth of our strategic midmarket and enterprise partner companies. You are ultimately responsible for the success of the clients assigned to your portfolio. You will interact with the business owners and key stake holders on a regular basis to ensure we’re driving the results needed for their business to see profitable results from their partnership with Porch.
Establishing and maintaining partner relationships
Onboarding, support, technical troubleshooting, revenue growth, and reporting
Managing growth opportunities within your book of business to generate revenue
Strong business acumen required. Capable of generating business conversations using data models and discussions that help you manage expectations and grow your managed book of business.
Be the voice and advocate of the home professional (our customer) - Work with leadership and product teams to identify process improvements or product requirements to help resolve any customer facing issues, to test any new product ideations and ultimately improve home professional satisfaction
Proactively influence team culture by actively participating in team and company activities and opportunities for feedback
Experienced: You have a minimum of 3-5 years inside sales experience, account management, or renewal experience, experience with preferred partners. Experience working with companies between 15 and 100 million dollars in gross annual revenue. You understand business and can hold your own when interacting with business owners and senior staff members. You have working knowledge of Salesforce.com or a similar CRM and love using data to inform and make decisions.
Expert Communicator: You excel at communicating the Porch story to partners, and can fluidly adapt this story for each partner. Builds appropriate rapport to manage constructive and effective relationships and relates well to all kinds of people. Can write clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles and gets messages across that have the desired effect. Strong listening skills and ability to accurately restate the opinions of others.
Problem Solver: You solve one problem after the next in the pursuit of building something great. You love the challenge of tackling difficult situations and finding solutions to meet partner needs. Can negotiate skillfully in tough situations and win concessions without damaging relationships.

Preferred Education and Experience:
3-5 years inside sales experience or account management
Preferred bachelors degree
Working knowledge of Salesforce.com or a similar CRM
Intermediate to advanced spreadsheet skills
Strong references of your work history
