Job Description

Are you ready to jump-start your career in financial/budget analysis with GEICO? If so, read on!

GEICO is seeking a highly-motivated entry level analyst with strong statistical, data management, problem solving, communication, and analytical skills. As a Budget Analyst, you will be part of a team that applies statistical methods to analyze test programs and develops statistical research projects for the purpose of annual business planning. You will also prepare statistical costs analysis to project the impact of special programs and projects. Other responsibilities will include coordinating proposed policies, procedures, forms, and reports among all locations, across all members of leadership. This position will require you to identify ways to streamline processes through effectively applying both traditional and advanced technological solutions. The reports you write directly impact business decisions in a high visibility environment.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Math, or a related field preferred

Strong excel skills are required (testing may be administered)

Working knowledge of PeopleSoft Financial Systems and/or IBM Cognos TM1 is a plus

3.00 GPA cumulative and 3.50 in major preferred
