The IIS (Intelligence, Information and Services), Engineering and Technology department in Aurora, CO, is seeking a Staffing Specialist to directly support and impact aggressive technical hiring needs for 2018 and beyond. The Staffing Specialist acts as a liaison between the Talent Acquisition team and the Hiring Managers to streamline and expedite the review, selection and hiring of qualified technical candidates across the business. Essential Functions Devise and implement strategic, innovative hiring solutions to hire the right skills and quantity of talent to achieve IIS staffing objectives Partner with department managers and dedicated discipline hiring managers to develop position content that is thorough, alluring to candidates, and aligns with business strategy Collect and review resumes received from the Talent Acquisition team on qualified candidates and forward to the dedicated discipline hiring managers to initiate the interview process Track candidate assessments, candidate status updates, and interview feedback sessions Develop and maintain talent pipelines through ongoing, targeted communication to stay in contact with potential candidates who have experience that aligns with current and future business requirements Provide Dashboard metrics for key leaders with real-time data on key performance indicators relating to requisition status and hiring performance measurements Demonstrate a deep understanding of the business area, capabilities, market challenges and key skills to create proactive recruitment plans and function as a subject matter expert to the business Other duties as necessary Required Qualifications: At least 4 years full life cycle recruiting experience that includes technical recruiting experience Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related area or 6 years of additional direct experience in lieu of education Ability to work well independently with a high level of responsibility and navigate effectively in matrix environments Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels of the organization Proven ability to build effective, collaborative work relationships with colleagues and internal clients Must have strong detail-orientation, multitasking abilities and project management skills Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and popular ATS systems such as: Taleo, Brassring, Kenexa, etc. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position; working either a 9/80 work schedule or standard 40 hour work schedule.
