In this role, you would provide the leadership and vision for your value stream.

**A Day in the Life**

•Direct responsibility for representing the value stream in the development of the quarterly forecast reviews.

•Development of production schedules based on committed financial forecasts, customer commitments and validated by load/capacity analysis.

•Execute Value Stream resource reviews to assure sufficient human and equipment resources exist to meet customer and site business objectives.

•Assure that product and process quality are compliant to internal, industry and customer quality standards.

•Drive productivity and financial performance by managing VS achievement of corporate and VS level metric goals.

•Provide input and participate in customer meetings, visits and quarterly business reviews as required.

•Report on Value Stream performance to manufacturing financial, delivery forecast/goals and customer commitments.

•Financial PL responsibility as follows: labor, scrap, material usage, fixed and variable costs.

•Conduct Value Stream level communications as necessary to provide the tactical direction and drive achievement of quality, delivery, productivity and financial performance goals/objectives.

•Provide the direction and leadership to develop and promote a Lean/Sigma continuous improvement culture with the VS.

**Must Haves - Minimum Requirements**

•Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Engineering, or other related field of study; MBA, MS or technical graduate degree preferred

•7 years of business operations and/or plant manufacturing or engineering experience

•Minimum 3 years’ experience in manufacturing management or equivalent experience of medical device project management and execution.

**Nice to Have**

•Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and applicable Quality System and Regulatory requirements

•Strong experience in Operations, Lean, and Six Sigma

•Knowledge of Financial metrics and interactions

•Solid past performance as a project manager.

•Strong analytical/statistical problem solving tools.

•Ability to support multiple projects and balance priorities.

•Broad business knowledge and ability to link customer needs with business processes.

•Strong coaching, facilitation and organizational skills.
