Role Summary:

The Sr. Sales Manager – Repairs CC PS NAM North is responsible for demonstrating accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives in the Repairs segment. In this role, you will integrate and develop processes that meet our Combined-Cycle Steam Turbine & Generator (Alstom, Cross-Fleet, and GE) repairs needs across the organization.

Essential Responsibilities:

As the Sr. Sales Manager – Repairs CC PS NAM North, you will:

Execute on assigned operating plan and targets for convertible orders and margin

Manage complex customer issues within functional area of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy to grow our Repairs services volume and profitability

Build influential relationships with customers

Develop strategies to win profitable Repairs business from those customers

Support Ccustomer pre-bid meetings, pre-outage planning, and outage visits to ID emergent work

Be responsible for identifying, scoping, and quoting repairs for assigned customer IB (NEX one CPQ)

Demonstrate commercial and technical expertise in Repairs

Support the sales team to identify and develop opportunities to maximize overall outage entitlement

Develop and execute customer strategies, campaigns, and pipeline development in NEX (~~~)

Meet or exceed operational requirements: analytical reporting, operating reviews, and cost

Integrate information, resources, and activities within the region and/or among global regions

Be responsible for customer satisfaction and facilitating customer visits to GE Repair Facilities

Own regional input for outage planning and forecasting planned and emergent repairs

Drive repair strategy and growth initiatives within the region

Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field from an accredited university or college

Minimum of 5 years of experience in power generation or large industrial sales, application engineering and/or marketing

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

Ability and willingness to travel 60% of the time

Desired Characteristics:

Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from an accredited university or college

Deep domain expertise around Combined Cycle Steam Turbine & Generator technologies

Willingness to learn new technologies and cross-train

Prior repair shop experience

Customer-focused mindset with proven ability to respond quickly to customer needs

Strong coordination and influencing skills

Relationships or experience with Power Generation customers in the US North region

Ability to effectively lead and energize a multi-functional team to meet sales plan

Knowledge of customer financial drivers / needs and business models

Ability to utilize analytical software and sales tools (SFDC, Excel, etc.)

Experience with both contractual and transactional customers

Outcome selling experience

Experience creating sales opportunities where none appear to exist

Strong oral and written communication skills

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
