Responsible for developing and managing effective primary relationships with Registered Investment Advisors through frequent client contact, responsive communication, and problem resolution. Works with advisors to understand their unique needs and needs to deliver superior client experience and facilitate issue resolution. Communicates proactively with advisors regarding qualified plan documentation, plan recordkeeping questions/resolutions, and general qualified plan administration

Acts as the primary contact for advisors, handling all day-to-day communications, and provides, and often coordinates, the research and resolution of all inquiries

Utilizes various systems/resources and communicates with several internal teams such as Sales, operations, Institutional or external vendors to research and resolve client inquiries.

Subject matter expert of regarding how RIAs interact with TDATC and TDA Institutional

Completes or oversees completion of RIA onboarding processes and provides initial training and consultations with RIAs throughout the onboarding experience

Assist advisors with qualified plan document/recordkeeping issues. Interpret and explain plan provisions and ERISA regulations

Supports the Paying Agent Services product offered to TDA Institutional advisor clients

Drafts and maintains procedural documentation for advisor product servicing; including process flows for interacting with internal departments and external vendors

Completes various metrics tracking and reporting

Participates in special projects as assigned to assist TDATC in supporting service delivery to clients or developing new processes, procedures, products and other mechanisms necessary to sustain and grow the TDATC business

Performs quality control of team members processing

Advanced knowledge of the qualified plans including experience with completing/drafting/interpreting plan documents, recordkeeping, and plan administration

Strong knowledge of ERISA

General knowledge about Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs). Experience working with RIAs, strongly preferred

Knowledge of retirement plan custodial and trading practices; familiar with the investment marketplace with sound understanding of the mutual fund industry

Ability to work under the pressure of tight deadlines and adjust to changing priorities

Experience in evaluating client needs for retirement plan offerings

A thorough understanding of TDATC’s business model, client and internal systems

Proficiency with recordkeeping system(s)

4 year college degree

3-5 years related work experience

Military education or experience may be considered in lieu of civilian requirements listed
