Within Microsoft Services, the Business Applications Solution Area is responsible for the Global Services strategy, offerings, and field readiness for the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) space. Senior Business Program Manager, Dynamics 365 CRM

We are looking for a new member of our Dynamics 365 CRM team to drive our industry targeted services sales and delivery excellence initiatives, globally. As our lead for a specific set of solutions and offerings in our team, you will be responsible for setting the strategy and managing the execution for how Services sells and delivers Dynamics 365 CRM engagements. We develop specific sales materials and strategies for our field Sales and Delivery teams that focus on industries such as Financial Services, Public Sector, Discrete and Process Manufacturing, etc. Additionally, we create and sponsor initiatives to improve tools and methods for implementation leading to delivery excellence and high customer satisfaction

Your key responsibilities will be to:

• Set Services offering strategy within the context of the Microsoft Business Applications Dynamics 365 CRM Business Group (BG) and Product Group (PG) including crafting industry specific scenarios for all related Dynamics offerings with the collaboration of our Industry team.

• Collaborate with other Solution Areas to offer end-to-end scenario capabilities for our customers

• Define Microsoft Services value proposition and messaging for Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM solutions and offerings.

• Understand the capabilities and value propositions of the current product portfolio and roadmap and the resulting Consulting Services opportunities, challenges and business concerns.

• Engage deeply with the sales field to understand where we are winning (or more importantly losing) to adapt the GTM approach.

• Harvest existing Microsoft sales IP to support scenarios, identify IP gaps, and develop required IP to rollout GTM solutions.

• Drive key initiatives to improve our global delivery excellence through better process, tools and people readiness.

• Work with key internal partners including Dynamics Global Practices, Microsoft Digital, the Customer Success Unit team, the Enterprise Operating Unit (EOU) team, One Commercial Partner (OCP) team, Services Global Sales and Delivery teams to drive increased new work sold and customer satisfaction.

• Support our external sales and delivery partners.

You will bring most of the following experience and knowledge:

• At least 10 years of professional experience in program management, consulting, CRM implementation, and/or related field expertise.

• Proven expertise with selling/architecting and/or implementing enterprise-level CRM Solutions (e.g. Sales, Customer Service Management, Marketing, Public Sector, Financial Services, Professional Services).

• Demonstrated track record of effective communication with technical and business leaders at all levels within large enterprises, including cross-organizational product, sales and delivery team collaboration.

• Deep understanding of project management techniques and tools for large complex business transformation projects; direct leadership experience in CRM implementation projects a plus.

• Proven ability to transfer industry and market knowledge gained from customer engagements to account teams and other Microsoft constituencies.

• Solid knowledge of how to design and execute high-touch programs leading to successful customer engagements.

• Strong analytical skills, a passion for CRM technology, and creativity in defining how new technologies can help customers reduce costs, improve profitability, gain efficiency and gain a competitive advantage.

• Ability to communicate with customers and partners effectively and professionally.

• Strong communication, data synthesis, presentation, and leadership skills.

• Adaptable work-style - functioning well both as a member of the team and as a self-directed, independent worker.

• Ability to work effectively in a start-up environment and excel at managing complex cross-organizations projects where success is predicated on influencing team members without having direct authority over them.

• Experience with executing plans with field sales organizations; global experience across several markets would be a plus.

• Relevant undergraduate degree and /or equivalent work experience; Master’s Degree preferred.

• Multi-language skills preferred.

• A solid understanding of the CRM applications industry and our competitors in this space, including SAP, SFDC, Oracle and IBM, as well as their ISV partners.

Location/Travel: This position is based in Issaquah, WA, near Microsoft Headquarters. Global travel can be expected to be up 15%.
