Product Manager – Non-Commercial

 

As the Senior Product

Manager, you will lead a team that manages the hot appliance business for the non-commercial

business. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing product

initiatives that support the broader short term and long term objectives of the

overall non-commercial hot appliance business. In addition, you will lead

cross-functional and project teams to deliver strategic recommendations on new

and existing products to deliver on growth, revenue and margin targets while

maintaining brand integrity across product lines.

for developing and executing product initiatives that support the broader short

in key sales and marketing presentationsLeverages

analysis of sales information, projections, and other meaningful data and

understand and lead forecasts on market evolution and company productsInfluences

promotions and advertising efforts of products or brands under his/her

responsibilityProvides

short term and long term strategic directionStrong

leadership understanding of the products role in the portfolio and impact to

the profit and loss of the companyResponsible

for analyzing market data, consumer insights, product performance, and making

strategic recommendation about product and product line plansExecutes

product initiatives that support the broader short term and long term objectives

of the companyDevelops

product requirements and creative briefs to drive product development activities.

Lead

cross functional team through Stage Gate process to develop new productsDirect

Consumer Insights team in development of research that informs product strategyManage

continuous improvement of product line to meet emerging consumer needs and

optimize business performance Track

projects against set objectives, analyze and evaluate success of the projects,

and pursue path to optimizationOther

have:

7

years of successful product management experience in small appliances,

housewares or other household durable categories requiredExperience

in a “Fortune 500” company, or in the Consumer Packaged Goods, Beverage or

related industries is strongly preferredBachelor’s

Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Engineering and/or related field

required, MBA preferred Creative

mindset and passion for product marketing and consumer packaged goodsPositive

attitude and professional demeanorExcellent

communication skills, written and oral, with all levels of the organization and

externally with partnersExtraordinary

organizational skills and attention to detail; able to shift priorities quickly

and remain calm and focused under pressure; able to manage multiple projects/requests

and meet deadlinesExercises

good judgment; understands when to involve others in the decision-making

process.Ability

to work well independently and with a teamExperience

with product management, new product development, and product line management.Demonstrated

success introducing products to consumer/commercial marketAbility
