But we need help! We’re looking for a

Sr. Product Design Engineer (UI/UX)

to develop powerfully simple answers to complex design problems and help re-shape healthcare for America and across the globe for generations to come.

What You’ll Do

Shepherd compelling user experiences throughout the entire product lifecycle from start to finish

Provide valuable mentorship and career guidance to junior Product Designers

Provide day-to-day guidance to designers assigned to your group

Quickly understand and decisively transform broad concepts into valuable insights

Work with Product Design Director to efficiently manage design resources

Push and inspire junior designers to produce

great

work; good won’t cut it

Utilize the full range of your UX, interface, and visual design skills

Work across departments to understand product potential and limitations

Work with Product Design Director and other Leads to establish, nurture, and promote a scalable design system

Quickly prototype (Invision, Principle, Origami Studio, code: your choice) that express design intent

Need-To-Haves

7 years bringing digital products to life; 3 years leading projects

Breathtaking and smart aesthetic sense with sharp attention to detail

Subject-matter expert on iOS, Android/Material Design, and/or web design guidelines and best practices

An insatiably curious spirit looking to both lead and learn

Demonstrable UX research, concepting and design skills with a strong portfolio

Proficient in Sketch, Invision, Zeplin, Photoshop and a willingness to try new tools

Strong understanding of user-centered design philosophies and an awareness of how to carefully bend it

Ability to present, defend, and evangelize design ideas with various stakeholders and teams

Awareness of how cognitive sciences (especially those around habit creation and motivation) can be applied to digital interfaces to reduce health insurance stress while also helping people create healthier habits

Solid understanding of tech and UI’s relationship, their possibilities, and their limitations

Nice-To-Haves

Motion/animation experience using Principle, Framer, or other prototyping tools

Experience with git or other version control methods

Experience working in an agile/scrum environment; extra credit for SAFe experience
