Provide business and financial input cross functionally to establish and improve go-to-market approaches with existing and new clients across the product portfolio.  Develop partnerships with sales, marketing and media delivery team on account strategy, deal negotiation, contract structuring, and pricing analysis that balances external needs with internal business goals.  Work to leverage competitive insights and market/vertical expertise to build financial models, pricing proposals, and other relevant financial justification for senior leadership review.  Contribute to the pricing integrity and strategic rationale of proposals across the product portfolio.  Works with senior leaders in the preparation of financial analysis & deal summary, liaison for including/calculating incremental headcount or network changes, competitive insights, coordinating and executing the Pricing Proposal, while supporting Pricing Philosophies. Partner with Sales, Marketing and product General Managers (including Sr. Leadership) to create competitively priced client solutions, profitable contract terms, and efficient deal structures. Maximize margins by setting price in alignment with pre-set pricing strategies and collaboratively developing the most cost efficient solution. Consult with senior pricing leaders to execute approvals for contract value according to current Approval process (including contracts in Oracle system), nonstandard items (incentives, short rates, rebates, terms and waivers). Perform ad hoc financial analysis as required. What you’ll bring:
3 years of progressive experience within Finance and/or Pricing BS in Accounting/Finance or equivalent Experience in Contract Negotiation, Margin Analysis, and Pricing Ability to interpret and extrapolate complex data sets Experience working with cross-functional departments Strong drive for results, solid business acumen, and understanding of systems and database methods Ability to work effectively with internal and external clients Excellent written and verbal communication skills and executive presence Strong computer skills (MS Office)  Why Valassis?
