The Hershey Company has an immediate opening for a Sr Manager, Procure to Pay Solutions (P2P) position dimensions include, managing systems to support innovation, process optimization and functional enhancements to grow our business, while protecting the safety of our consumers and protecting Hershey’s iconic global brands. Engaging with Global Shared Services (Procurement and Accounts Payable) management in North America, Latin America and AEMEA to jointly determine strategic direction, roadmap for technology and tactical implementation of advanced capabilities. Additionally, this position will represent P2P and business requirements and priorities within IT to ensure effective support, deployment of new capabilities and innovation.

Summary of Major Duties include:*

The Sr. Manager, Procure to Pay Solutions (P2P) position is responsible for leading and successfully delivering strategic information technology initiatives with the GP / GSS organizations. Provide oversight for the execution of programs/projects, program/project schedules and budgets, reporting variances along with planned corrective action.

Represent business requirements and priorities within Information Services (IS);

Engage with the IT Support (GTDO) team to maximize system accuracy, uptime and performance.

Advise on options, risks, costs versus benefits and impacts on business processes, and systems.

Coordinate across IS teams to prioritize and implement changes and strategies.

Work collaboratively with business strategists, process owners and subject matter experts.

Coordinate with IT architecture and IT technical teams to manage application lifecycle.

Anticipate the resource needs ahead and galvanize resources to achieve desired results. Find and optimize resources to get the job done.

The Enterprise wide responsibilities for Global IT Solution Delivery of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Solutions. This includes developing the strategic technology roadmap, prioritizing technology initiatives, identifying innovation opportunities, and staying abreast of industry, software vendor and information technology trends.

The development and nurturing the P2P Business partner relationships. Close linkage to Global Procurement (GP), Global Share Services (GSS) and Global Supply Chain business strategies. This includes jointly defining business objectives and goals, developing business cases, evaluating current technologies, communicating new technology capabilities, and identify process improvement opportunities

The management and leadership of direct reports including goal setting, performance management, skill and knowledge building and career development. Build and maintain high performance teams through own actions and direction provided to others.

The Sr. Manager, Procure to Pay Solutions is responsible for building strong vendor relationships:

Represent her Global Procurement / GSS business requests with key vendors.

Manage and enhance strategic relationships with key vendors.

Fully understand and influence vendor capability roadmaps.

Stay abreast of vendor trends and emerging issues.

Education Requirement*:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Services (MIS), Engineering Management, or related field.

Project management certification (e.g. Masters Certificate or PMP) preferred.

Formal training in Lean and/or Six Sigma process, a plus.

Master’s degree, a plus.

APICS certification, a plus.

SCOR training, a plus.

Experience Requirement:*

10 Years of Global Supply Chain and P2P Systems Experience, with a minimum of 8 years working in an SAP ERP environment with focus on SAP MM and logistics modules. SAP deployment and/or upgrade experience is preferred. CPG Experience is preferred.

Minimum of 12 Years of technology implementation, experience managing software development programs/projects in a matrix environment, preferably within a large company or consulting organization. Combined program budgets more than $10 million across multiple functions within the enterprise.

Strong Supply Chain background with the ability to converse easily with Senior Business Leaders.

Technical domain knowledge including a broad understanding and working knowledge of IT including all major functions.

o Must be up to date with SAP trends such as S/4 HANA, general industry trends and technology advancements including big data capabilities and advanced analytics.

Experience with leadership responsibility for application development and delivery functions.

o Experience applying standard software development methodologies.

o Experience managing large programs.

o Strong knowledge and experience in program and project management disciplines.

Strong relationship building skills to ensure that partnerships can be developed with Hershey’s business partners and key stakeholders.

Strong leadership, interpersonal, influencing, negotiation, organization and communication skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Known ability and commitment to building capacity in others, track record of building high performance teams.
