Responsibilities

Effectively manage a team of Project Managers responsible for managing integrated, multi-phase, and often complex projects & programs for IT organization

Provides day to day management to PM team, including hiring, interviewing, resource planning and management, performance reviews, weekly status, and coaching.

Delivers continuous improvement of PMO vision, processes, standards and governance

Develops and reports PM related metrics to show gaps, root cause, and define process improvements

Builds solid relationships with application development teams to ensure value is being driven by PMO

Collaborates with ENT PMO and business PMO organizations in NA and EU to develop standard roles, responsibilities and processes for PM's across the organization

Partners with IT Planning and Portfolio Reporting team to maximize training and process improvements related to project management

Ensures complete transparency and objectivity of project data quality in Clarity throughout project lifecycle; project funding/creation/scheduling/staffing/execution and closure

Partners with other project leaders to build and structure project teams to ensure maximum performance and deliver IT projects effectively

Provides purpose, direction and motivation to team

Clarifies and communicates project objectives and success criteria. Ensures key project roles and responsibilities are defined

Responsible for ongoing customer satisfaction

Manages peer-level client relationships (expectations, communications, negotiations, escalation, feedback, etc.)

Develops relationships and ensures the appropriate participation with client stakeholders

Partners with all cross-functional teams within the project to gain access to information and acceptance to effectively drive operational improvements

Leads/facilitates cross functional meetings and effectively communicates process improvement objectives.

Additional Qualification/Skills Desired:

10 - 12 years project management experience in successfully delivering large projects

3 - 5 years' experience managing a team

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience in related field

Experience with developing effective PMO related process improvements, governance, and metrics

Knowledge of financial systems, supply chain systems, Data and BI and Enterprise Architecture preferred

Proven leadership of diverse teams of 10 or more individuals in dynamic and fast-paced environments

Proven experience leading multiple full project SDLC from business development to final delivery

Experience managing large complex and multi-phase projects simultaneously

Proficient in MS Project, Open Workbench, PowerPoint, Visio and Excel

Knowledge of Clarity PPM tool a plus

PMI Certification or equivalent

Must have excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills

Must have the ability and proven track record of leading and coaching team members

Must have proven ability to be able to communicate and collaborate cross functionally with all levels of the organization, multiple cross-functional groups, and diverse personalities

Must be able to work in a dynamic team environment

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience in a related field.Minimum of 8 years experience in systems or applications development.Experience leading a team of developers.
