Position Description

The Sr. Integration Analyst works closely with IT subject matter experts, end users, the management team and project teams to enable the successful onboarding of new practices into the US Oncology Network.  This role is key to the success of our organization by ensuring a smooth onboarding and integration experience for Physicians and staff joining The Network.  The ultimate goal is to support the technology needs of the business to ensure that our physicians can provide the highest level of patient care.

The successful candidate will exhibit a rounded profile including strong leadership, general IT subject matter knowledge, business sense, capacity to adapt to a rapidly changing environment, collaboration, talent to deal with complex situations, and ability to deliver win-win solutions that successfully balance multiple conflicting requirements.   Some of the key expectations for this role are:

•           Find and deliver win-win solutions for the Practices and McKesson

•           Identify current and future state business processes

•           Assist with project management tasks to ensure successful execution

•           Facilitate design sessions with technology subject matter experts to define solutions

•           Promote trust and collaboration between McKesson and the Practices we serve

•           Identify areas within MSH that lack efficient processes/procedures and help drive improvements

Job Specifics

Requirements Management

Perform due diligence during business development to identify risks and formulate a preliminary integration strategy.

Document current workflows and identify business processes that could be impacted by integration activities.  Collaborate with the project team and technical subject matter experts to design solutions as needed.

Collect end user requirements to ensure that integration deliverables meet end users’ functional requirements.

Collaborate with the technical subject matter experts to identify technical requirements related to integration products and services provided by McKesson Specialty Health.

Use knowledge of internal and external business issues to improve integration products and services

Responsible for accurately mapping data elements from source system to target system

Project Management

Provide IT leadership and coordination to ensure delivery of projects on time, on budget and meeting scope and quality expectations.

Actively participate, and in some cases, facilitate project team meetings to ensure that requirements are met

Communications

Work closely with the IT Operations Manager to ensure that any requirement gaps identified during the requirements gathering process are accounted for in the communication plan and the support plan

Operational support

Provide IT Leadership to manage and successfully resolve day to day operational issues at the respective practices or operational areas as necessary

Facilitate user training sessions, site visits and provide support for go-live activities','!*!

Minimum Requirements

6 years’ experience in designing, building, and implementing business solutions using information technology. Significant experience in business analysis, requirements definition and deployment of business requirements to information systems.

Critical Skills

3 years in a leadership role for an IT functional area, leading an IT program or managing IT projects

Strong communication skills, particularly, the ability to communicate with tact in difficult situations and communicate effectively to audiences that do not have an IT background.

Experience implementing IT strategies in support of business requirements.

Strong subject matter knowledge of one or more: IT building blocks including packaged software applications, software applications development, network, data centers, end user computing, telephony, mobility solutions, systems integration, reporting tools, etc.

Additional Knowledge/Skills

Healthcare applications systems experience, highly preferred

Previous experience facilitating user training sessions, site visits and providing support for go-lives, highly preferred.

ITIL v3 Foundation certification, desired

PMP certification, desired

Six Sigma certification, desired

Education

4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience. Bachelor degree preferred.

Travel

30-40% travel required

Working Conditions:
