The Sr. IAM Security Engineer is tasked with the critical work of developing and maintaining the IAM governance tools. Their primary responsibility will be to design, develop and implement Java based code in support of the IAM toolsets. The candidate will need to be able to work in an agile based environment and be able to translate business requirements into functional requirements. He/she will need to be passionate about information security and IAM best practices as well as secure coding best practices.

The Day-to-Day

Job Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain and enhance IAM governance tool sets

Plan, design, implement, and lead application development using Java and JavaScript languages

Deliver products and services to enable effective Identity and Access Management throughout Operations

Enforce compliance with IAM principals including: least privilege access, password management, Audit logging, RBAC

Engage with and influence the many stakeholders and interested parties to ensure compliance, security and operational functional requirements are met or exceeded

Create and implement automated processes that reduce manual efforts and increase overall efficiency and scalability

Develop monitoring and reporting on the health, effectiveness and efficiency of IAM services

Improve the efficiency and scalability of operational systems and processes to accommodate the rapid growth of users

Analyze, test, and debug applications

Help with problem diagnosis and resolution

Develop IAM interfacing with corporate driven applications across functional areas

Write, maintain and develop business and functional requirements

Basic Qualifications:

5 years of relevant work experience in the identity and access management field

Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or related discipline

Experience communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels across multiple business units

Experience establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders

Experience building processes, project management, and release schedules

Strong understanding of Identity Management technologies, including access control and account provisioning methods

Strong understanding of access policies, enterprise-wide policy enforcements

Expertise in at least one suite of identity tools (Oracle, ForgeRock, PING, SailPoint)

Expertise in LDAP and DB concepts (Oracle, SQL server)

Coding experience with J2EE, JavaScript, shell scripting and SQL

Experience with writing and/or editing programs and scripts written in Java, C , Python and web service calls

Good understanding of industry standards for audit and compliance (SOX, PCI)

General understanding of application security requirements both from enterprise and cloud perspectives.

Preferred Qualifications:

Identity integration with SaaS vendors

Windows, Unix/Linux & Vmware

PERL, Java, Shell Scripting, HTML 5

J2EE, Servlet Engines and Application Servers

Familiarity with OIM, PING, SailPoint,ForgeRock and other Identity and Access Management technologies

Single sign-on services

Excellent problem-solving skills and development of creative solutions

Excellent leadership, teamwork and collaboration skills

Results oriented, high energy, self-motivated

Exposure to cloud AAA technologies (i.e. AWS)

Familiarity with the standards for SSO technologies such as SAML2, OAuth2, and OIDC

Experience with user provisioning, system authorization, PKI, MFA, and password vaulting systems and services

Familiarity with Information security technologies and controls
