POSITION SUMMARY

Provide global leadership in proactively delivering risk-based, security and incident response services to achieve a safe, secure and resilient business environment in accordance with Aetnas core values.

The Sr. Forensic Investigator uses the latest and most advanced technologies, procedures and processes for acquiring and analyzing digital forensic information.

Fundamental Components:

Background/Experience Desired

Previous (5-7 years) recent and related experience, preferably in law enforcement, business, or government.

Minimum of 1 year experience in sophisticated data modeling, data mining, or data analysis..

Minimum of 1 year experience with programming and scripting languages such as C, C#, C , PERL, SQL, and VB..

Prior experience investigating internet and information technology-based matters.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

Bachelors Degree (Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline)or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Industry standard digital forensic certifications (EnCE or GIAC) preferred.

Organizational skills to simultaneously manage multiple priorities and projects.

Superior written and verbal communication skills.

Proficient computer skills; familiar with Internet, email, Word, PowerPoint and database programs.

Available for domestic and international travel.

Available to respond to incidents 24/7.

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.

ADDITIONAL JOB INFORMATION

Conducts digital forensics analysis through, but not limited to, evidence acquisition, evidence analysis, email forensics, registry analysis, artifact analysis, memory analysis, file analysis, log analysis, browser analysis, timeline analysis, file system analysis, malware analysis, anti-forensic detection and social media forensic analysis among others.

Utilizes leading forensic software to identify, collect, preserve and analyze electronic data from laptops, desktops, servers, back-up tapes, mobile devices and a variety of other media in support of investigative efforts.

Leads and/or participates in the investigation of complex investigations of known or suspected violations of company policy, fraud, and acts of criminal or civil nature that involve the operations of the company for referral to State, Local or Federal law enforcement, or internal adjudication.
